Founded as a Seattle shoe store in 1901, this popular chain is now known for manageably priced designer duds. Shoppers find a hint of sophistication in the store's white floors and pianists on baby grands. Unique departments include the Brass Plum juniors' section with Ruby Rox and Diesel, and Studio 121 for career-savvy women. A business-centric men's clothing department offers Ben Sherman suits, while relaxed styles from Marc Jacobs and Lacoste are in The Rail department.

Nordy, Nordy, who's got the Nordy?. Nordstrom is the outstanding store in the Salt Lake Valley for women's clothing and shoes. Sure would hate to see them leave downtown, but if they stay at Fashion Place people will come.

Best Store Policies, Quality Items!. Elegant and sophisticated selections; wide variety of name brands; the best and excellent customer-friendly policy among all department stores in Utah; inviting and comfortable atmospheres in stores. Problem with prices? Well, they have excellent seasonal and promotional sale prices worth waiting for. And you can be assured that you don't get to bump into a few people at parties and special events, or at school wearing the same outfit as yours (if that's a concern to you)!

Service suceeds. Nordstrom carries many name brands as well as their own line of clothing. The clothes are fasionable, and the employees are extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is nice too, often featuring live piano music and soft lights.

Not bad. I have always enjoyed shopping at Nordstroms. They have some items you can't get anywhere else. If I am bargain shopping, They usually have some pretty good mark downs, but a lot of times I must go so where else.

size selection!. I love Nordstrom for their wide variety of clothing for all occasions. Most important is size selection, as I need preteen to juniors or even misses! This store has quality clothing in all departments.

Best Sales and Shoes!. Great selection of quality shoes in a broad price range. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, I can always find what I'm looking for and then some! They are also the only department store that properly measures children's feet for shoes. Customer service--best in Utah. And the Anniversary Sale? The greatest. All new-season merchandise storewide at great bargains!
