Climb 'til you can climb no more.. The Scene
With about 7,000 square feet of synthetic rock, Rockreation is one of the larger indoor climbing areas in Salt Lake. It boasts a wider variety of terrain to choose from, as well as added bonuses such as free weights, locker rooms and showers.

The Skinny
There are about 50 routes that reach 5.13+ in difficulty, including a tower area that enables climbers to get almost 45 feet off the ground. There are also an additional 85 to 100 bouldering problems in cave-like area with hard, overhanging routes for sport climbers to push their limits.

Rockreation teaches a number of courses for kids, adults, women, beginners and lead climbing. The gym also hosts climbing leagues and can even be rented out after hours. Private instruction and rental equipment are available.
