Before sshilcr puts out information about a company on the internet, she better make sure her facts are straight... I talked to the owner directly after reading her bogus review and he confirmed that Schmidt's does NOT use high fructose corn syrup in their cakes! They also make each and EVERY cake from scratch at their Taylorsville location and then ship them to all of their other stores. So, also claiming they don't make their own cakes is also false. Schmidt's is one of the very few full scale bakeries out there that actually does make the majority of their products from scratch! Their pastries have a freshness that surpasses any other bakeries products in my opinion. I think there is a reason they have been in business for 35 years. They know how to do it right!

Always let sugar cookies warm up to 70 f it will taste better next enjoy every bite and chew with eyes closed.

Great bakery. Everything that I have tried there has been great. We ordered our wedding cake there as well. It looked great, tasted great and they delivered it and set it up on time just like they said they would. I definitely recommend it!
