Tips for Guitar Center

Will never shop here again. The staff was incredibly rude! Shop at House of Guitars. Excellent customer service.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!. This is the worst place you can ever buy your equipment from. Literally EVERY SINGE THING I have bought from this store has broken, ive bought a double bass kick pedal, broken the day of purchase. Bought a line 6 spider iv, its been a week and the speakers already sound like crap and when i try and record with the head it feedbacks like a mother f-er. Dont go to this dump, they are all retarded and will take you for a ride to get all the money they can from you while giving you useless crap. If I could give them no stars i would.

It was OKAY. They didnt give me a hard time while buying a Harbinger HA60 PA System the other day but they tried talking me out of it and buying a bigger one and the guy didnt know anything about amps or PA systems for that matter, he just made himself look like an idiot, but overall it was alright

Guitar Center. I went to this place twice and hate it. The workers have no clue what they're talking about. I've been told such gems as the Line 6 Spider III is the best amp below $500; solid state amps are better for rock music (WTF?) and that the Boss DS-1 is the best distortion pedal out there.

Then you have Wayne Campbell in the corner playing 25 NPS shred riffs out of key and out of time with his Marshall MG100HDFX at full blast.

This store is overrated. Shop at Guitar Czar, or House of Guitars instead and support local businesses.

Good store. I dont know what the other guy ment about rude people but personally i really like the store and how they operate theres kool employees there that help you find what you need and if asked they will help you with tips and secrets to songs and otherthing. Over all conclusion great store and its better than shoping for insturmental equiptment from a second hand store.

A humming, beating, vibrating, music mega store.. In Short
Just as the electric guitar started gaining popularity in the '60s, so did this once-modest, now monumental music store chain, which has grown to become the country's largest retailer of musical instruments. The store is packed with merchandise hanging overhead, crowding the aisles and monopolizing the walls. Contrary to its name, it's not just about acoustic and electric guitars; it also serves the needs of keyboardists, drummers and horn players.

the worse place to buy anything. do yourself a favor and buy from eric at guitar czar or shawn at house of guitars ! guitar center is filled w/ 18-20 yr old jerks that have only been playing for 3yrs and believe thats enough experience to be rock n roll sensations ...i hate going in there yet i have to every once in a while ....i just don't buy, there i find what i'm looking for and buy somewhere else ...thanks for hiring a bunch of creeps .....w/ the exception of the door girl/guy everyone else is rude !

Wait a minute..... Are they STILL doing that? Young Hessian guitarists were plucking away at Stairway to Heaven and getting kicked out of music stores clear back when I was a kid in the late 70s.
