Great after rideing grub stop. My friends and I allways stop here after a great day on the slopes. Tuesday is our favorite day to stop by after rideing. The beer is $2 bucks and between 3 and 5 oclock the appetizers are half price. You can't beat the price or the location (the bottom of big cottonwood canyon) and the food is allways good. Do your self a favor and order the nachos you won't be disapointed. We love this place!!

Not good for big groups. I met 17 friends at Porcupine Grill for my birthday. They don't take reservations, we called an hour ahead to be put on the waiting list. We waited 45 more minutes. We did not have enough tables. One person had no surface. He asked for one more table, the staff refused. Our server said he could not separate our check. The manager said that if we were willing to wait an extra 20 minutes at the end of dinner, our server could separate the check then. They acted as though they were doing us a favor, and were very put-out by us. Our server brought us one check and it took us a half an hour to identify our orders. It took the server another 45 minutes to separate the check. I will never go there again. I have never been treated so badly in my life.

Meh, at best.. Really not that impressed. We waited about 40 minutes for a table...and we had a reservation! On a weekday!! Then it took over half an our to get our food. I think we only saw our waiter twice during the entire visit. -Once to order our food, and once to get our check. Not very good service, and a little overpriced. Try a different restaurant, don't waist your time.

A cozy haven for the post-ski and -hiking crowd.. In Short
A big, airy dining room opens into a nice, but smallish, front patio that overlooks Salt Lake Valley. A loft-like space is opened when things get crowded. Those seated at the bar can watch the action in the kitchen and dip into the impressive draft-beer selection. The menu is huge and diverse, with pub favorites like very spicy hot wings, chili, steaks, burgers, pasta and pizza.

Always a Good Bite!!. I have been going to the Porcupine for over 3 years now. The fish tacos are excellent and the philly cheesesteak rocks! The brunch is the best for the value, the portions are huge, and they have something for everyone. My personal favorite is one of the many fine brews they have on tap along with the Big Cottonwood Burger! The atmosphere is always fun and diverse. Perfect for a summer salad, as well as the hellfire wings after a day in the snow.

overrated. Chicken wings are terrible, fish ok, not sure why people rave about this place. OVERPRICED!

hellfire hot... and good. my boyfriend and i are in slc on a business trip and we found porcupine pub and grill through citysearch. after reading the many good reviews, especially the review on the great hot wings, we decided that it would be worth trying out. my first impression was not great because of the atmosphere- looks like a bar/diner rather than a cozy pub. but the waitress was super friendly and the food was excellent. we tried the hot wings, with the hellfire sauce, and i was in tears. it was the best wings that we have ever had. very hot, beware. we also had the 4cheese pizza, yum. the blue cheese was not that impressive. overall, it was a great find. definitely worth checking this place out if you are in the neighborhood.

You Won't Get Stuck Here. Really good food. Their nuclear wings are well, nuclear. The hottest hot wings I've had in some time. Thier standard wings are great. Beer and good wings, it doesn't get much better. Service has always been good for me and the atmosphere is pleasant. I would recommend the Porcupine.
