homemade mexican - great price
by utahmama
Great for the whole family - the homemade chips and salsa start things off just right and the prices are nice too. We like that the environment is nice yet casual and love the flan to finish things off! I really shouldn't tell anyone so I can keep it to myself, but the restaurant is too good to not share.
- Pros: family-friendly, great food at a good value
- Cons: none
Salty Mexican food
by slednik
We used to eat here a lot - they used to have the best Rellenos - then the food got really salty (new cook?). After a couple of times mentioning it to them with no change in the saltiness nor sympathy with our unhappiness, we stopped going. Well, we decided to give it another try last weekend. The food is still way too salty and if you need to avoid salt - that's not good. We mentioned it again when we left and received no response from the guy at the door - no "I'm sorry", no "that's too bad", no "I'll mention that to the cook" - just took our money and didn't even tell us to have a nice evening. We won't go back again.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Food very Salty
Pretty Darn Good
by averagejane
This isn't a fancy place to eat but the food is always pretty darn good and the service consistent. The tacos are a little smaller than they used to be and the chips have changed from the old style, but the place still gets my business because the food tastes good and is served hot.
- Pros: Good value, consistent food
