The Scene – The perfect spot for apres tennis, Asian Star's atmosphere is high energy and casual. Outdoor seating overlooks the tennis courts and provides views of sunsets across the valley. Inside, suspended red paper dragons and brightly colored paper lanterns help set the mood. It's a great place for an Asian beer or a cup of sake and an array of freshly prepared appetizers. – – The Food – With so many wonderfully spiced selections, it's hard to choose. You can't go wrong with any of the specialties, whether it's the sweet and spicy shrimp with mandarin ginger sauce…
DO YOU LIKE CRAP, THIS IS THE PLACE!!!

I am not a fan of Asian food to begin with. When my wife decided to check this place out I wasn't too excited. When we left, both of us weren't.
The building was impressive, I was impressed with the valet driving and the super courteous greeter at the door.
We were taken immediately to a nice table and that ladies and gentleman, is as far as we go with the good impressions in this place. It was all downhill from here.
Place was dirty as hell, it looked as they needed to vacuum that place a decade ago.
I orders a plate thingy, I was expecting this to take sometime to get served, but amazingly, I was served in about 5 minutes after ordering.
That of course, let me to believe, they were bulk cooking and only scooped me my choice.
After my fast-food-like-speed dish, the taste wasn't the best. I couldn't tell the difference between the restaurant and any quick Chinese in a box place.
Same thing.
Only difference is you're paying twice more.
The lowdown is the following:
Place sucks, dirty and bulky food that tastes gross....but you will pay twice as much as if you had gone to Panda Express.....
I recommend getting Bacillus Cereus from another place, at least it won't make a dent on your wallet
- Pros: It's indoors
- Cons: It's in my State
Its all looks

I was anxious to try this place because the building looks pretty cool and I thought that the food was going to be just as good as the looks .But this place serves food just like a cheap Chinese Buffet. But they charge more and serve gross old food .The rice was burnt, everything that was fried tasted like it was fried in very very old oi. I was left with that bad after taste in my mouth from the old oil.And besides verything the place is dirty and expensive.
- Pros: Nothing
- Cons: Dirty place, gross food, bad service and expensive food
WORST MANAGEMENT!
by AkiraSneah at Citysearch
The place is nice, food is just like every other Chinese place. I took my brother there for his birthday and we wanted a big table because we had a big table and asked the waitress to seat us and the manager yelled at her and said to us in a rude tone that the big table was already taken, and we asked if there were any other big tables in that big restaurant. We were seated upstairs were there were plenty of other "big" tables. When the waitress brought us extra plates he yelled at her again! And they (there were 2 of them) looked so grumpy and rude but when a group of doctors walked in they were so submissive to them. I will never go there again!
- Pros: atmosphere
- Cons: service
