Poor.
have been doing business with Dan's since 1967. I've noticed since the stores were sold, there has been a steady decline in the quality of goods. I always counted on Dan's produce and meat to be fresh. Not so any more. I shopped for a prime rib for New Year's and the Angus beef was $11.19 a lb. Harmon's was $7.99. The less expensive $3.98, was solid fat and so much liquid(blood?) in the package that I wouldn't have bought if it had looked good. The produce is comparable to Walmart's and that isn't a compliment. I usually shop either Dan's or Harmon's and, sorry to say, Harmon's is winning. They have the best produce, meat and their prices are good on sale items.
Also, there are a lot of products that are close or beyond the expiration date.
Most of my friends feel the same.
Diamond in the rough!. Of all the Dan's Foods Stores in the valley, this is the one I would recommend shopping at. This store provides great service, along with a huge variety of select items you won't find at other grocery stores. They have a great select of ethnic food items for preparing your meals, and their meat deli has a unique variety of specialty meats they prepare themselves so the customer only needs to put in the oven or toss it on the grill. The store is clean and well organized and has a great flower selection. If you've shopped at other Dan's stores and been dissappointed, try this one it will more than satisfy!
