BAD. They are horrible.. I purchased a gift certificate on citydeals for Q4U which expired on 3/31. We went in today (3/31) and was told the gift certificate was expired, it expired when they opened today. This is horrible! What business does this? I think they just like to steal your money!! The manager was very rude also, she didn't care! I will be taking my business to Pat's Bar B Que which tastes better anyway.

Decent. I like Q4U plenty - their food can be hit-or-miss, but the brisket is good and the ribs are tasty. Not a fan of most of their sides, but meat and sauce are okay.

Confused about the bad reviews. We've been eating at Q4U for a few years now, and I am pretty confused about the bad reviews on here. It's always tasty whenever I go. I had the spare ribs last night and they were anything but dry! I do understand some of the complaints about the sides (never tried the yams or mac n cheese), and the bread that comes with the meals is pretty blah in what seems to be a BBQ tradition of lousy bread. The Cajun spiced fries are great and the hush puppies are nice and oniony. My advice would be to not even bother with any other sides (depending on what you get, your meal comes with one or two sides). LOVE the sauces - the house sauce is the best in my opinion. Sweet, tangy and just a little bit hot.

Overall, I love Q4U and there are a lot of tasty affordable options. I might rate this lower (just because not everything on the menu is stellar) if I hadn't had visits to other local BBQ joints within the last two months to remind me that what matters is the meat and the sauce.

Q4U - not 4 me. My husband and I have heard a lot of good things about Q4U in West Jordan, so we wanted to see what all the fuss was about. After all, a place that has been voted best bbq and gets rave reviews has to be good, right? WRONG. We ordered take out and once we got home and dug in, we were very dissapointed. The ribs were very dry, not fall off the bone like they should be. The sauce was served on the side, not on the ribs. The brisket was extremely dry also. The mac n cheese was disgusting! And the 'sweet yams' were anything but. So to put it bluntly, this is the worst bbq we've ever had. We won't be giving it a second chance. Whoever voted this the best bbq must not know what GOOD bbq is. You're better off going to Goodwood BBQ.

"Best of Citysearch"...You POOR people!. Worst BBQ I ever tasted in my life. I ordered the big combo plate, since the reviews, and was treated to DRY, as a powderhouse, pork ribs, mangy chicken, flavorless fatty brisket and well, I won't even mention the sides(you can get better in Angola State Penn.). This place CAN NOT cook! I mean at all. Take the southern sweet tea for example, so much sugar in the tea it almost melts the spoon. Can everything be this difficult to do? TEA?

Since I had a sample of nearly everything they feature at this place I can honestly tell you the other reviews must, have to be, can't be honest at all. The owners must have gotten everyone they know to say something nice about them. Your better off making your own BBQ at home. I should have known...pathetic food. Truly. It is as if they have no "REAL" restaurant experience at all. I can respect someone trying to make a living and I"m pretty understanding, but this place is horrible.

Instead try Pat's BBQ. Sure it's mddle of the road but at least you won't be eating roadkill off of it.
