worst food in the state of utah.. I wish I had more hand to give this ten thumbs DOWN! I am a big fan of this type of food. there basically the same, gual bertos, rancharitos, betos, albertos, ect. but the location on 3500 s and about 8000 w is by far the worst quality food and most unsanitary by far. they park a dumpster next to the order menu so you can smell garbage while you order your gross freshley soggy biohardazous freshly made by unwashed hands food .I strongly urge another health inspector to verify my findings and discust. the hot sauce tastes like watered down bloody urine. the food has no taste, but ifyour lucky you might be blessed with a fly in your food. this place needs to be shut down then burned down for the good of the community and the atmosphere.

Awesome inexpensive Mexican food!. Beto's has really good food and the best spicy carrots in town, as the last guy said. Worth going for those alone. Also plentiful vegetarian options. Bean & cheese, and veggie (off menu but good) burritos are killer, and the two cheese enchilada plate is great for two meals or those really, really hungry days.

Fast-food Mexican of a gooier, more authentic and altogether tastier variety.. The Scene
It may not be glamorous, but Beto's is not about cute or colorful decor. It's truly all about the food. Despite the daily throng of enthusiastic burrito-eaters, the service is quick and friendly. The Spanish music is authentic, the staff is authentic, and they never, ever get your order wrong.

The Food
It's infinitely better than the generic fresh-Mex places that are popping up everywhere. This food will stick to your ribs. The Chili Relleno burrito--a homemade flour tortilla stuffed with egg-battered chilies, pico de gallo and guacamole--is especially tasty and big enough for a meal. The Lomitos Argentinos torta is a unique specialty--a grilled bun layered with steak, ham, fried eggs and guacamole. The salsa verde is spicy and fresh. In general, the food is generally flavorful and filling.
