I called Discount TV in hopes that I would be able to get my TV fixed quickly because I use it every single day. I called everyday for 4 days trying to get someone to at least come look at the tv. Everyday they told me someone would be out, and they never showed. Then I called again only to find out the reason they hadn't come is because they thought I would just buy a new tv. When they finally did come out, the gentlmen that came out left without saying anything. I had no clue if he would be back or not, or what was going on. I ended up calling them AGAIN, only to find out they had to order a part. It would take about another week. I was sick of waiting for them, so I canceled the order. It has been 3 weeks since I canceled the order, and still have not seen a refund on my account. I called today to see why I had not recieved my refund. He said he had to do some "research" and then called back and said he couldn't find the charge, so he would refund me part of my money. Don't go with these guys, it seems like a shady business that never seems to have answers.

Poor service, dishonest, completely disorganized, and inept. My 15" Slyvania LCD went out and upon calling "Hildon" at Discount TV he acted as if it would be an easy fix and they knew exactly what the problem was. I thought I'd give this apparently disheveled business a chance. That was a mistake. Problems: kept TV for over two months without any communication with me, proceeded with an UNauthorized work order (and the delay was supposedly waiting for unnamed parts from Funai), and I called them 3 times with inquiries for details and with promises they'd call me back. They never did. I had to go in twice to find them there (often gone during business hours) and attempt to retrieve my TV. I forfeited the $25 "diagnostic" fee but I wanted to be done with this outfit. Moreover, among the wreck and dozens of thrown down TVs (carelessly handled), they had no record of my TV repair. Overall a real shady shop that is poorly managed, run, organized, and cared for. STAY AWAY and tell your friends to do the same!
