I have fallen to the "dark" side..... I admit it. I'm a Starbucks "Regular." I used to swear up and down that Starbucks was just some crappy fast-food corporate-run coffee flinging nuisance that ran all local coffee companies out of business. But - I was so naive, and quick only to say that only because it was "cool." But they have *excellent* barista service, and their espresso drinks are always consistent. And sooooo good, too! They'll customize without complaint. I love Starbucks now. So there. I've said it. I'm free to enjoy my latte and feel good about it because I know the coffee that they brew comes from coffee farmers that are paid accordingly and is brewed by people who care about their jobs. I know the workers are happy there as well, because they just SEEM like it. They aren't grumpy - even if it's 6:30AM. I love Starbucks 9th and 9th!!!
