A lodging staple for budget-minded road-trippers and business travelers..
In Short
Since the Ramada brand made its debut in 1954 in Flagstaff, Ariz., the hotel franchise has been offering dependable accommodations with budget-wise perks. Families appreciate the kids-stay-free policy for children 17 and under staying with their parents. Other amenities usually include a swimming pool, full-service restaurant, lounge, in-room data ports and voice mail. Group rates--for wedding parties, corporate groups or family reunions--are available for parties requiring 10 or more rooms per night.
Better luck staying at a homeless shelter or a truckstop. Horrible place!!!!!! Driver for the shuttle service was the creepiest man I have seen in a long time. He should not be on the front lines working with customers. He was leering at my wife, and she was extremely uncomfortable from this. We ignored his little mumbled comments and considered the source. However when it came time to turn in we felt unsafe as he sort of followed behind us back to our room. I didnt sleep much because all night I felt like something was crawling on me. My wife was awake most of the night also (probably because she was afraid of that driver!!) The breakfast was half a star at best. The only positive thing I can say is that when we arrived we went to the bar to eat, the bartender working did her best to get us food/drink. Considering what she was up against in this dump, we were impressed. Thankfully she told us she had a "real job" because she seemed very embarrassed and continuously apologized for being out of things, like limes, beer, food. DO NOT STAY HERE, not even if it's free--the airport would be cleaner!!
