Wonderful. I attended during my lunch hour so I was unable to see the exhibitor's hall or have a free service. I loved the gift bag and enjoyed the CND lotion sample. Your staff in the product area were knowledgeable and answered all of my question. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Great place to go for hair removal. Hi. I just went to cameo today to get my first laser hair removal appointment. I received a thorough consultation about a week ago and today was my actual treatment. I was really pleased with the process. The facility was very clean, the staff was very professional and the whole process was very fast. Besides that, the price was awesome. I would definitely recommend Cameo College to all my friends and family

Best beauty stop. Just wanted to let it be known that the Cameo College is one the best Schools around actually to me is the Best.

I always have a great experience there doing my nails or getting a haircut and everyone who is student there is very Friendly and they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and are happy, you definitely feel important as a valued customer which is so nice and rarely seen. They have good prices.

Worse experience ever!. I understand that these are students but they should have at least some training before being allowed to work on the public. My daughter was there from 6:30pm until 10:15pm (they close at 9:30) and they didn't even finish. Her fingers were bleeding in several places and her nails looked awful. They wanted her to return the next day to finish then called because "they couldn't fit her in" and asked her to come back on a Saturday!

I will spend the extra $10 and have a professional do it in 30 min!!!

If you are wanting to buy a wig, go here!!!. I recently went to this beauty school because my boyfriend bought me a gift card. I decided to just lighten my hair from black to just a dark brown or red.. nothing too extreme. Let alone hard to do. First of all, I was stared down by two students gossiping at the receptionist desk. Of course that just set the mood, as my name got called, I had a nice student greet me, but as she sat me down for a consultation , she had no idea what questions to ask, she didn't get any information from me before getting an instructor, who didn't even introduce herself , came up grabbing at my hair. For all i knew she might have been another student!.. well to make the story short, these rookies followed their intructors lead, and FRIED my hair.. I ended up being at the salon from noon to ten o clock at night!!! Leaving the salon with bright red roots and black ends!!! I ended up making a appointment at my friends salon for a haircut to basically cut off my ruined hair! I was so mad, i left in tears!! and Not only did the intructor pay attention to what the students were doing, but she tried telling me it was my fault... WTF?!?! I was treated so poorly. I suggest never going to this place!!!

Money hungry. being a cameo student myself, i really get to see how things are run here. i love the teachers, and staff, but i am so upset that every month i get suspended because i miss 2 days instead of 1. if you get suspended for missing more than one day per month you owe 100$ to come back to school. if you cant pay the 100$ then you cant come back until you do pay it, and they will not work with you on that at all. also if you miss any time past your 80 hours you owe 15$ an hour whether it is excuses absence or not... that can really add up especially if you are in school for 2 years.... they are not understanding when it comes to issues going on in people's lives. my girlfriend had to quit completely because they wouldnt give her time off when she was going through her divorce. my other friends dad died and she was charged 15$ for every hour she wasnt at school. i think this is so sad. after all it is a college, dont you think they should get their tuition and if you decide to not finish, thats the students problem... they should not force us like 5 year olds to come to class every second of every day. also if you need to change your schedule from full time to part time or vice versa you have to pay 100$, and if you cant then you are stuck in that schedule, they will not make any exceptions. so heaven forbid your work schedule shanges, because you are screwed if you dont have 100$ every time life throws something at you. one of my friends couldn't pay the 100$ to come back after being suspended for going through a miscarriage, so 5 girls pulled their money together and paid for her to come back. also if you are not taking clients then youare just sitting there waisting time, not learning new things... they just made a new rule where only 2 students per day can get a service done on themselves by another student... dont you think if we are all sitting around we should be able to practice on our fellow students????? i still have 1,000 hours to finish at this school and i cant wait to get out of here, if i quit now i will still owe the entire tuition. if you are thinking about going to this school make sure you never have family/personal issues, make sure you always have money to give them, and make sure you never miss a single day.

What a Disaster!. For the next year, I’ll be forced to live with pumpkin colored hair. I asked for ash blond, highlight and lowlights, similar to what I had when I went to Cameo.

Until my hair grows out, I hope hats come back in vogue.

Tough Lesson Learned. I have to admit, I have never sought services from a beauty school before, but I’m new to the area, and the economy having hit my family as it has many others, I decided to give it a try.

Let me start by saying, I have (well, had) really easy hair that’s hard to mess up. My hair was long (about 3 inches past my bra strap) and naturally curly. I had not colored my hair all summer and so I had several months of “virgin” untreated hair to work with. My hair was always my signature feature. I could have a bad-skin day, a feeling-heavy day, but I could always count on my hair. That was until I took a chance on Cameo College of Essential Beauty Services.

What I asked for was my standard - subtle highlights/lowlights, cut about 3 inches from the length to eliminate any damage, and add long layers to soften. Seems easy, right? Wrong!

What I got was over-bleached, over-processed, almost gray looking highlights. My “virgin” untreated hair now feels like straw. And instead of cutting only 3-4 inches, my stylist – for reasons unknown to me – cut about 8-10 inches. As for the layers, they turned out choppy and frazzled.

To Cameo’s credit, they did try to make amends and fixed the gray highlight effect. But the damage is done on the over-processing and the cut is horrific.

So, my lesson learned. Pay the money and go to a professional salon! Don’t trust your hair to rookies. The students have less than 1 year experience and the instructors, not much more. The professionals I usually go to have over 20 years experience, rookie mistakes are avoided, and the extra money spent is so worth the peace of mind!

Boy was I impressed. I have NEVER had a cut and color that I've absolutly loved before. I recieved a gift of a cut and color from a friend. Cameo isn't a place I frequent, in fact it was totaly new to me. I was welcomed in the salon and my representative ( Elizabeth Fergus) came proptly to guild me back to her station. She was a great help in finding the style and color that would best suit my skin tone and shape. After it was finished and styled I loved it knowing in my mind that it would never look like that again ( I can't ever seem to make my hair look as good as it did at the salon) Elizabeth showed me exactly how she blow dried my hair and how to use the straitener for maximum results. My hair looks great every day!!! I am so impressed by my experience that I will be a constant customer of Cameo College, and refer all of my friends there as well. GOOD JOB at what you are doing it shows
