First and only time I went in there the girl behind the bar ripped me off for $20. Pretended I hadn't paid her. Foolish move since I was out looking for a new neighborhood hangout and she easily would have made the extra 20$ over and over in tips had that become "my place". Didn't feel like fighting it out with the cook/barback/bouncer so I paid it again anyways. Havn't been back since. Shortly after that they got busted for serving uderage and had to be simply "Busy Bee Grill" minus the "Bar" part for a year or so till they got their license back... karma? Place was lame anyways.

Sticky floors, dang atmosphere. I'm glad I went with a salad. T he rest of my party was sick for days from the burgers. This place is nasty!!!!!!

Poor selection of beer, small, (4 oz possibly) frozen burgers. Good jukebox doesn't make up for the bad food and beer.

Horrible Service, Not So Good Food.
This place was recommended by friends and also had good reviews online, so my boyfriend and I decided to check it out on a Wednesday night.
The service was horrible, the waitress was rude/unhappy and asked "Are you ready yet?" about 3 times in five minutes. The fries were good, the garlic burger was dry, standard patty that you would get at a Wendy's with garlic powder sprinkled on it. Nothing special and overpriced for what you get. The beer is expensive and after checking my bank statement the waitress added to her tip.. even after I had tipped her, I'll admit low because of the service. I have honestly never written a bad review, but this was not a good experience. We won't be back.

Service. slow service table next to me left after 30 min and still no food.I had two different people take my order so a little disorganization but I got nine in fifteen min and the garlic burgers are great

yummy grub.
Some time ago while eating breakfast at Green Street, a friend of mine made a bold statement that the Busy Bee had better garlic burgers than the Cotton Bottom. Instead of severing ties with him and leaving in disgust, I opted to challenge him to a garlic burger duel; much to my dismay the Busy Bee proved a worthy adversary. With your meal you have a choice between salad, chips or fries. The Cotton Bottom offers no choice, the eater gets chips and that it, even if you want something else you get chips. Chips, WTF! It is my opinion that it is this choice that makes the Busy Bee the superior eatery.

Busy Bee Bar & Grill. Im from phoenix and i wanted to find a quit little place to have a few drinks and some food and i found busy bee. all i can say is that place was just what i was looking for excellent food spirts and conversation the staff were freindly and very polite.its an all around good place to sit and relax play pool or darts.So i highly recommend so the next time your in utah check it out i know i will!!!!

This inconspicuous South Salt Lake juke joint may be the best bar and grill you've never noticed..
The Scene
