Great place for Dinner. Our first visit was in August of '08 to celebrate a birthday. We were very pleasantly surprised at the number of choices on the menu. Two in our group ordered the pork chops and agreed that it would be very hard for them to ever order anything else from the menu. The chops were thick and juicy and soooo...tender! The rest of our party enjoyed their entrees as well. They serve sourdough rolls prior to your meal arriving. We enjoyed those and tried not to fill up on the rolls before our meals arrived. All meals were adequate servings for each of us. Everyone agreed that we wanted to return to enjoy more of their selections. We have returned several times since then. In fact, when we speak of going to dinner, my girl always mentions Write a review

Coachmans. The staff has always been efficient and friendly. One of these days I will save room for one of their special desserts and we want to try the house specials.

We LOVE Coachman's!. I found this place almost by accident and my husband and I have been back several times. We love the food and the service. The decor is pretty retro but with their awesome prices, who the heck cares? I'd write more but hubby and I are headed in for dessert now. :)

no place like home. Coachman's is the bomb! granted i may be a waitress there at nights. but i know the behide the sean action and i get to see the care and preparation that goes on with the food and service. Mike the manager really cares about all his customers and wants nothing but the best service. all the waitresses are smart beautiful women who are great at what they do. so if your not sure what to do for dinner tonight, come on in to coachman's, i suggest something off the dinner menu, you get soup. salad, rolls, a soda. and dessert with your meal. ask for Ashley and i will do my best to live up to the coachman's expectations. hope to see ya there!

Prompt, friendly and pleasant service.. I first found this place one Sunday morning so I stop by to eat breakfast. I was seated right away into a table of a pretty waitress. She took my order and a shortwhile my breakfast is ready. The food is a lot and a pretty decent meal. I returned 4 times that week during our lunch breaks. The waitress did good service so she desevered a good tip.

Pretty awful. After hearing some good things, I went there for breakfast with a friend. She had the swedish pancakes, and I had the french toast. First off, the service was awful. The waitress was slow and cranky. As was the woman at the front desk. And who in the year 2008 still doesn't accept debit cards? Instead, you have to use the ATM which charges an additional fee.

Next, the food was pretty much mediocre. The french toast wasn't any better than what I could make at home. And I have no idea how they think those things were swedish pancakes. Basically, they were super thick, super eggy, super dark pink crepes with something that was definitely not lingonberries. They made my friend feel sick and neither of us even finished our food.

Definitely, if you're going for breakfast, try someplace else. I'd rather have Village Inn than this trash any day of the week.

Try this unique and excellent eatery!. The Coachman's has been one of our frequent breakfast, lunch and dinner stops for many years. WHY? Simply because it's very good food with large portions at a great price! Contrary to what some others have posted here, I've always found their service to be excellent as well. The comment(s) here about this place giving you the feel of dining with the mob are interesting, however the owner was NOT incarcerated! John and his wife are the owners, and one of their sons (who was working there) was found to have been selling contraband on the side out of the restaurant. This restaurant does, however, offer a distinct unique atmosphere along with the outstanding food and service. Incidently, one of my favorites is their marinated pork which offers a very delicious power surge of flavor! TRY IT! YOU'LL LIKE IT!!

Food might be good, I'll never know because the service sucked.. Looking for a new place to eat, my girlfriend and I decided to try the Coachman's. The menu looked interesting and tasty but after sitting for 10 minutes with no sign of service pending (and it wasn't that busy), we got up and left.

I'll never go there again.

Good food. Great ambiance!!. Another review of this place complained that it wasn't an IHOP. That person is missing the point. Stories abound that the place is run by the Mob, and the owners have gone to jail. This is more than half of the charm of this place! Food is tasty, the ambiance is a classic diner-type place, where you can just imagine mob types eating after whacking a stoolie. And the cash-only policy? It perfectly rounds out that Mob feel! These reasons are the main reasons to eat at this place! Even if it's not actually mob affiliated, the "coincidental details" make you feel like you're eating with the Don. Definately recommended!
