Can you say "YUM"!. I love the meatball subs here. I have never had anything that wasn't great! the market is nice, too. Huge selection of meats, cheeses, desserts. YUM!

The ONLY REAL Italian Deli in Salt Lake City - This place is like being home in New York!. This is the only place in Utah to go to for the real Italian Deli experience! I came here from New York 14 years ago and was lucky enough to find Granato's. Top QUALITY and SERVICE every time!

Caputo's or Granato's?. Depends where you are and which is the closest. These are the only 2 Italian delis in SLC worth going to. My house is closer to Granatos, so I go here more often. Prices and quality are very similar...

Awesome Deli. I'm from New York originally and Granato's makes me feel like I'm back home. The selection of meats, cheeses , and frozen items is fantastic. Service is friendly, and their sandwiches? Just great. Much better than the other italian deli down the street.

Mondo Italiano: This top-notch gourmet store/Italian deli has everything for lusty appetites.. The Scene
Sprawling, bustling, fluorescent-lit emporium full of imported bread, cheese, salami, dried pasta, arborio rice and dozens of olive oils and fancy vinegars. You'll get full, too: The sandwich counter sells huge, and hugely satisfying, Italian sandwiches. There's a freezer section if you need prepared pastas, sauces, even dessert (tiramisu) to go.

The Food

Granato's selection of pastas, salamis and olive oils is staggering--and mouthwatering. Good thing the sandwiches are nearby. Gargantuan concoctions like the Godfather and the Italian Combo are most popular, stuffed with Italian sausages, lettuce, tomato and provolone, and served on a sandwich roll or ciabatta. But don't miss the daily specials: The fresh mozzarella sandwich with salami, lettuce, tomato and basil pesto is rich, creamy, spicy and crunchy, all in the same bite. Then, indulge in la dolce vita: Granato's cannolis are lightly cinnamoned ricotta, wrapped in flaky pastry. There are good buys on grated cheeses like parmigiano-reggiano, romano and asiago in the freezer section. And the frozen marinara is molto bene.
