Too quiet, slow, expensive....
Maybe because it was a weeknight, but my dining companion and I had the entire main floor dining area of this once-upon-a-time gentlemen-only private club to ourselves for much of the two hours it required to consume just salad and dessert. Holy cow it was quiet!! We could hear each footstep and creak as our server crossed the wood floor back and forth to attend to our every need. "This century old building was not wired for music" we were told. Our steak and half cobb salads were each prepared to perfection with delicious house dressing placed on the side. Desserts were described deliciously but in reality were a bit disappointing. We tried three just to be sure.
