I went to Salon NV to get my hair lightened.. it was dark brown and I wanted to head back blonde. Unfortunately this takes about 3-4 visits in order to do this correctly and not fry my hair off! My hair dresser, Emma, was very nice and was able to explain this to me. She took my hair from a dark dark brown to a lighter brown with blonde highlights. I love it! They were also very hospitable in asking if i wanted drinks while getting my hair finished! I could not be happier! Thanks Emma :)

Salon NV, I am writing this review to help you... please please please if your stylist does not know what he is doing, instead of trying to look like what he is doing, encourage him to recommend another stylist OR let the person know that this is not their area of specialty.

and don't Bother me with stupid phone calls... I didn't write my phone number down to get calls from you.

please consider going through your stylist's ABILITIES and if someone calls in to your salon and asks for a stylist and tells you they want highlights or something, appointt a stylist according to their talent, NOT because they want to build their client... whatever...

I hate your salon for life. I will never forget how much you screwed up my hair, and the guy who did it. and you should evaluate your stylists on every hair appointment they have ( especially if they are new) I did not feel like coming back there complaining about my stylist.. ( he was a nice guy) and I did not want to get anyone fired... no one wants to be that person, it is YOUR responsibility to follow up, I realize you have a lot of clients ( god knows why!!!) but when someone is obviously unhappy and is asked to come back again and they do and still you screw up... i think that person would rather die then come back to your salon.

Salon NV. You need new management. or you need a new attitude. I don't want anything from you, I just want you to acknowledge that you were wrong without saying, you wish I would have called back or... spoke to someone... because you know that is just just a bunch of crap... would you go back to a salon that screwed up TWICE?

I went to another hair stylist after you and she thought my 10 year old daughter had done my hair... and you know what I was so embarrassed that I laughed and agreed... 200$

ok, so I was going to go to this salon, and my best friend went there and after seeing her hair and hearing about her experience I will never go there... she is too much of a lady to post on here and say ANything bad about anyone and she always over tips people no matter how horrible of a job they do on her hair... so I thought I should post this to let you guys know of her experience, my friend is a lovely girl, and she deserves the best.. and salon NV certainly did not do her justice. she went to the salon to get highlights.. first off she was rushed, the person who did her hair was obviously upset because they were not expecting her to take so long and they had previoius plans for that night. she was rushed and the end result was not acceptable, so she was asked to go back to finish!!! I did not go with her, but I heard about it, she is a very calm person and does not like to be negative, but if it was me, I would have let that salon have it!!!!! after doing and redong her hair 3 times, and after a good 4 hours!!! she came back home...and her hair looked uneven in highlights not at all what she wanted, she said it was fine and the stylist was very nice... but she did not like it very much.. well it only got worst after that... her hair was turning a weird grayish color!!! and obviously damaged from bleaching 4 times in 2 days.... breaking and the color turned orange... just a mess, I took her to fix it at another salon as a present... she had to cut it shorter than she wanted because of the damage... but she is finally happy with the result.

I admit my friend is too nice and she did not want anyone to get in trouble or say anything bad about this, but as a girl who likes to see her friends happy, and hearing her talk about her experience, I would not recommend this salon to anyone, from the sloppy appointment to the stylist who had no idea what they were doing OBVIOUSLY! when you take an appointment please tell your stylist what it is for so they dont rush through it!! and try to be a little nicer to people who are nice to you! I only post this because she would never ever do it herself... and I though people deserve to know. salon nv is the last place I would go for highlights.

I am not sure why everyone is going crazy for this salon. I read these reviews and was excited to go in and get my hair done, I had some extra cash to spend on myself and was looking forward to it. called in made an appointment, The guy who did my hair was a very nice person I am sure.. but my hair looks horrible.. the cut .. the highlights, I dont think he knew how to do highlights, they are uneven... they dont blend well and they are choppy... he had to do them 3 times.. just to make them look right... in 2 different days. they looked ok in the salon, just because I was happy to be done with it but it spent the nest few days crying cause I looked like a mess. I was very specific with him, and he knew he did not do a good job. I had to go somewhere else and fix my hair, and the girl asked me if I had my friend do my hair... so free parking or not.. great location whatever... I am out 140$ and my birthday pictures look horrible... so be my guest and go RUIN your hair at Nv!
