In Short – Just a brisk walk down Main Street, downtowners can enjoy a manicure or a haircut in the middle of the workday. The decor is cool--think somewhere between an artist's loft and the Rainforest Café. Loyal clientele tout it as the city's best spot for the latest in hair dyes and nail colors. As for the staff, they're young, but well-trained and able to generate a fun and open atmosphere.

I love that he was just as excited about my hair as i was! I'm definitely going back. Everyone there was super friendly and the atmosphere is awesome! Love that place!

I WAS JUST READING THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS AND TOTALLY AGREE WITH WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE WAS SAYING. I WENT AND SAW A STYLIST NAMED JACOB. HE WAS DYING MY HAIR TO BLONDE. FIRST OFF, HE LEFT THE BLEACH IN MY HAIR FOR SO LONG THAT MY HEAD STILL ITCHES 2 MONTHS LATER, AND MY HAIR TURNED WHITE!!! I DID NOT WANT TO GO PLATINUM BLONDE!!! I THINK THAT WHOEVER OWS THIS SALON DOES NOT HIRE UPON EXPERIENCE, BUT BY HOW ATTRACTED HIS IS TO THE APPLICANTS. ALSO, WHEN MY STYLIST WAS BLOW DRYING MY HAIR, HE WAS TUGGIN ON IT SO HARD I ALMOST WANTED TO CRY. IN FACT, ANOTHER STYLIST CAME BY AND SAID, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THIS POOR GIRL, YOUR RIPPING ALL OF YOUR HAIR OUT!" THE ATMOSPHERE IS ALSO NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL! YOUR STYLIST WILL CARRY ON CONVERSATIONS WITH OTHER STYLISTS AND SCREAM AT EACHOTHER FROM ACCROSS THE SALON! I'VE ALSO SEEN THEM EAT LUNCH AT THE TABLES THEY WORK ON. PLEASE, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. IF YOU HEAR OF ANYBODY THAT WANTS TO GO, ENCOURAGE THEM NOT TO. YOU WILL REGRET IT FOR SURE!
- Pros: NOTHING
- Cons: STYLISTS SUCK!
Avoid this place at all costs!

First off, I went in and saw Alex for a cut and color last week. I have been dyeing my hair from brunette to blonde and just went in to get my roots touched up. I thought Alex did an okay job. I wasn’t very thrilled because he didn’t leave the bleach on my hair long enough so my roots came out kind of orange. Then a few days later, I went to put my hair in a ponytail and noticed something horrible. Alex had missed several big chunks of my root hair which was only visible when my hair was pulled back. Upon further inspection, I noticed there were several places where Alex didn’t go down to the roots either, like on my side burns. So I have chunks of my old brunette roots showing through my blonde hair! So I called and had them schedule me a touch up with Alex on Tuesday of this week at 3:00. They called me at 1:00, 2 hours before my appointment, saying they made a scheduling error, and Alex would not be available that day. So they re-scheduled for today and guess what..... They called me again, this time it was 4 hours before my appointment, and said that they made another scheduling error! This time, the stylist himself called me who didn’t even bother to say sorry, or ask what was wrong! AVOID THIS SALON!!!! Don’t listen to what other people say about it. If you go there long enough you will find that it’s always a hit and miss. The staff in unfriendly, and I got the feeling from them that they could care less about inconveniencing me! And what really bothers me, is there is no way my stylist couldn’t have noticed the mistakes he made when he was meticulously blow drying and cutting my hair! I speculate that he did notice, but didn’t want to have to stay late and fix the problem. I will NEVER refer anybody to this salon and have already decided to take my business elsewhere. You will get the same results by going to Great Clips and at a fraction of the price!
- Pros: Nothing!!
- Cons: Waste of your time!
