Gallery Vibe
Williams Fine Art is one of the biggest and most profitable galleries in the state. Clayton Williams, gallery owner and a painter himself, devotes his time to collecting early Utah paintings-- trophy pieces for local collectors. Williams is one of the only places around where you can find works by deceased artists such as LeConte Stewart and Maynard Dixon.
The Art
In addition to rare, historical works, Williams has found its niche with well-known, contemporary Utah artists. The Gallery has been featured in Architectural Digest, and recently held an art show of works by Arnold Friberg. Most of what you'll find is traditional-- mainly landscapes and still-life paintings. But you'll always find the best-- ask any seasoned collector or critic.
