Superb store and service. I've been shopping there extensively for two years now. The store is incredible and the staff is extremely knowledgable. The reason their return policy is so strict (and this is clearly made known) is that they guarantee that when you buy a product, it is NEW, unopened with no gray market stuff. If it is ever defective they are excellent about replacing it. This policy protects those who want absolutely new and products that have never been "tested" by others. You would be wise to shop there.
Good selection, concerning management.. First, know their hours. They are closed when most retailers are generating revenue. Second, really KNOW you want that item before you leave with it. We all understand not being able to return high end equipment but you buy the wrong case or anything- credit only even unopened. Bottom line... the prices aren't great, the service is okay, there isn't really a return policy and they are closed when you really want or need to shop them the most. I feel like its a fight to buy local with them. I do it but my friends have stopped. Jeez, why do I shop there?
Poor after sale customer service.
I recently bought an item at that store and a few days later decided that it wasnt for me. the item was opened just to test it out.
retailer said that they can never give back cash or credit returns... only gift cards which i think is an unfair business practice.
I ranted online and a few hours later the retailer told me that the owner took my rantings personally and therefore cannot work with me to get me a refund.
they are good to you if you spend money on them, but one a problem arises they do not work with you to resolve the problem. they take bad reviews personally in stead of improving their policy.
they do not protect the consumer with their ridiculous return policy.
Kim, please give the full story. You bought the item in question specifically for a seminar that you were holding - a seminar that we helped you promote. After you had "tested" it by using it for your seminar you returned it. Our return policy is posted very clearly in multiple locations at our ring out stations. You claim that we do not protect our customer with our "ridiculous" return policy. You're right, we instead choose to protect them by making sure that they're not buying used gear.
PhotoJunkie Heaven. Great selection. Only highest quality products. Educated and attentive staff. It is a candy store for any photojunkie, like myself! The return policies are fair and the location is convenient.
Great Customer Service and Knowledge!. Pictureline has great customer service! Their sales staff - Ken, Berk, Leslie, Jacob... really know what they are talking about. They also have very competitive pricing like on their inks and paper. Although I can can sometimes find better pricing online, I still choose to buy from Pictureline - with the consistent great service and great pricing - my loyalty lies with Pictureline.
