Also, their pumpkin ice cream was amazing! I would highly recommend Hatches to anyone looking for a special treat in Salt Lake City.
An absolute must for chocolate lovers. Hatch Family Chocolates singlehandedly made a chocolate lover out of me. Always filled with an impressive selection of chocolate, I have yet to find a selection that I didn't like. The chocolate covered strawberries, and raspberries are a must. Other favorites are the chocolate covered gummy worms, the chocolate haystacks and the carmels. If your not in the mood for chocolate, they have really good ice cream. Steve and Kate couldn't be any nicer, and make it impossible to simply drive by the shop without stopping by. I have yet to find a chocolate shop with better service and chocolate.
Great Rootbeer Float!. Stopped by for our first time after living in SLC for 3 years! How dumb are we to have passed this place up? So friendly! So yummy! Will definitely go back and refer many people!
THE BEST hot chocolate.
...or should I call it Drinking Chocolate? It is divine. And the Pots de Creme are also a taste phenomenon. We live in the 'hood, and really love walking over, even really late because they have great late hours. But if I moved away, I would definitely make the trip back.
Steve and Katie are always there giving fantastic service, as is all the staff. Stop here for amazing chocs and more.
Great chocolates!. Very nice people, and a great shop with Farr's, Italian sodas, excellent coffee, deserts, and the best chocolates in Salt Lake City!
An Avenues Gem. Best Hot Chocolate anywhere. Love Steve and Kate! You must go here. Open late (11) everyday but Sunday.
