BARGAIN!. Buy two Coke products get two free! As far as I am concerned, the regular price for a Coke Fridge pack is $3.99 (which is too high and I never pay it); $2.50 is a good deal, $2.00 is a GREAT deal!!! I head over to Albertsons thinking I would get a FAB deal. WRONG! the "regular" price for their product is $6.50. WHAT!!! When did anyone pay $6.50 for a 12-pack of Coke? Of course, I did not buy any soda. These type of practices really anger me.

I do have something positive to say about Albertsons. Their employees are very nice and their Pan au Chocolate is the best that I have found in Utah (better than Vosen's and less expensive).

Editorial Review. Founded in Boise, Idaho in 1939, this grocery store is one of the largest food and drug retailers in the country.

Recently improved. This Albertson's location has recently undergone a noticeable improvement in service (I write as of July 08). The past few years I've generally avoided this store unless forced by circumstance or extreme need to go in. The checkstands were always understaffed and the checkers were slow and the lines were long. But the several weeks there's been a change. There are more employees on the floor now, they are friendly and talkative and willing to help find things. And best of all, the check-out lines are quicker. I was in there this past weekend and asked the produce department guys if they could chop some celery and put it in a little tub, similar to what they market for onions. They were great in doing that, and the manager happened to be standing nearby and I took the opportunity to tell him about two products Smith's no longer carries that I really hope Albie's will continue. He made note of one of them in particular and told me he could make sure they were both available at least at his location. Great to see such a shift from what used to be such a vexing store.
