Nasty. No way would I eat at this place again. The plates they served us on were dirty. The overcooked steak they brought me after we complained about the dirty plates tasted like they had dragged it across a dirty, mildewy floor. To top it, we had a booth full of fogies behind us and when they left one of them farted their excellent Sizzler meal as he went past our booth and it lingered there forever. The only thing sizzling about the place is the stench of it.

Established in California in 1958, this all-American chain is decked out with stone accents, dark woods, and classic photography that hearkens back to the restaurant's beginnings. The original menu featured four steak options; today, guests choose from steaks, burgers and sandwiches, St. Louis-style pork ribs, and signature "sizzlin' platters" of garlic-herb chicken or grilled seafood. Not the classiest place in town.. Wow, I don't think I have read so much anger and hatred about a restauraunt in my life! Sizzler is okay, and at times it is a little slow, but overall it is decent. The Salad Bar is great, sometimes the steaks are good, and usually the service is acceptable. It just depends on where you go. In Idaho they are way better than Utah. I agree the comercials are a little corney and laughable.

Poor service in Orem!. I used to be a big fan of Sizzler restauarants. Unfortunately I have had too many bad experiences at the Orem location. I went there with my Wife one evening and was served fries that were as stiff and cold as cardboard. When I asked for some fresher fries, I got the same fries back, only this time they had been reheated in a microwave. The employees were very loud in the kitchen area as well. We heard all! The restaurant did not seem to be run in a very professional manor.

Best Salad Bar!. Where can you go where you can have all the salad and fresh fruit you can eat...for cheap? Not to mention pizza, chicken wings, soup, ice cream, etc. Sizzler! Who would have thought? And, oh yeah, they have pretty good steaks, too...

You've got to be kidding!. Overly-priced, average, bland food for the typical Utah masses! Sizzler has no personanlity, plus you can't even get a beer to go with your piece of grilled shoe leather. I'm ashamed to live in a city that votes for any national chain in this catagory!

over rated. they bring a rare steak out on a platter that is so hot it cooks the steak to crisp by the time you get to eat it. all i wanted was a rare steak.

HOW EMBARASSING!. Yes, we Utahns have no class! We don't have any nice restaurants! And good thing! With the large families we have, we can't afford anything but sizzler!

Utah has incredible places to eat! We have places with ambiance, incredible food, fabulous wines, and everything else you look for in a great dining place!

How the HELL did this get on the best list?????

pretty good. Good value for the money....great for kids too. It has a good atmosphere, but the seating needs to be quicker.

I call Re-Count!. Oh my, whomever voted Sizzler as one of the best restaraunts has got to be the most sheltered people-I personally see Sizzler to be trashy, the food isn't anything great, and the restaraunt itself is a mess. The commercials are enough to make me never want to go there. What are you people thinking?
