It's not fancy and it's not health food, but it's the place to go if you want a burger, fries and a shake.

Disappointment. Ordered some shakes, half the order was wrong, nothing was labeled, when I called to see if we could bring the shakes back for the correct order the manager said there was no chance the order could be wrong. Super disappointed and I feel stupid considering I was the one who hyped up their milkshakes and. Convinced everyone that shivers was the best. Next time iceberg will be the place to go.

Vegetarian Kid Friendly? NO. I was there with my 2 kids today and tried to order them the kids meals with a veggie burger instead of one of the many meat-based options. However I was told that I could not do so. First they told me that the patty was too big for a kids meal, (which is NOT true, because I've had the Earth burger there many times and it's not dramatically bigger than a normal patty at all) and then they said they didn't have it priced out and that the veggie burgers were too expensive to put in the kids meals, So basically since there was no "button" or whatever that added an extra dollar or whatever to the price of the kids meal, I couldn't get them one. Now any parent knows that when you do the fast food thing with your children, the kids meal is the whole deal, kids know that. They expect the kids meal experience. I don't take my kids to fast food restaurants very often at ALL so this was a very rare treat for them. I also drove quite a bit out of our way to go to Shivers specifically since they were a local restaurant and I like to support local businesses over mega-chains. However I was very much disappointed at the response that I got and felt that even though I try to make a point to support somewhere local I would have had less hassle just to go to the MickeyDees down the street. So I just had to order 2 veggie burgers with fries and split one between my kids. They were "nice" enough to give them one of the toys so I suppose they tried a little but would it really be that hard to throw an extra fifty cents onto the price of the normal kids meals for the veggie burger option? I'm pretty sure I won't be taking my kiddos back there any time soon, and definitely won't be considering it to be worth the time and effort to go as a special treat. It's sad that this place left such a bad taste in my mouth.

I LOVE SHIVERS!!!. Shivers has THE best shakes in the valley, hands down. No one ever argues with that, because no one ever again. On a hot summer night, Shivers is definitely the way to go!

BEST SERVICE. While i was in Shivers last week, i noticed that the service had higher standards than most fast food places. There is also a lot of different things on the menu. I think her name was Kelsey, but she made sure that my order was complete and handled with extra care due to my food allergies. She was very sweet and most places don't really care about their customers. I love shivers and would recommend to anyone!

It's not fancy and it's not health food, but it's the place to go if you want a burger, fries and a shake.. The Scene
If you're bringing kids, Shivers will make you feel at home--there are trains everywhere and kids climbing all over everything. However, they do offer a small outside seating area in front along busy 3300 South and drive-up window for those on the go.

The Food
Burgers and more burgers. The favorites are the Super Deluxe (two 1/4-pound beef patties with ham or pastrami) and the Western (one 1/4-pound patty with bacon, onion rings and BBQ sauce). The Train burger is a pseudo-Big Mac. Fries and onion rings are nicely done, too. Shakes are another big draw--they offer 80 flavors--and they're so thick they stand four inches above the top of your cup.
