Worst White-Person Spa I've Ever Been To. I feel somewhat dishonest giving this place such a favorable rating with one star, when what it really deserves is zero. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a spa before, and especially one that seems to exude professionalism by its exterior. I am not one to fork out the cash for pricey manicure/pedicures, but seeing as I was getting married the next day and had our wedding dinner that night, I resolved that this was the ideal time to spend a little bit more on my nails. Granted, the technician that was doing my manicure was fully aware of the important upcoming events and continued to slosh the otherwise thick, gloopy O.P.I. sloppily across my fingernails to my shagrin. At first I figured, no need to worry! I've had french's before where they go back and tidy up a job that originally looked like it was executed by a four year old! But as time kept ticking (the manicure took over an hour, total), I quickly realized that my technician had no intention of going back and correcting the already-smudged, too-thick, bubbling white lines across the tips of my nails. On top of this, she finished out my otherwise juvenile manicure by slathering a coat of nude polish overtop the smudged white lines, which turned these lines a dirty, yellowish-brown hue. By the end of this time-intensive experience, I was escorted down into a cave that resembled an operating room, where the technician proceeded to coat my toenails in a polish that also immediately started to bubble. Although I had originally intended on having a french pedicure as well, I decided to go with a simpler request after seeing the mangled condition of my fingernails. I trudged out of the spa with my sloppy fingernails and toenails (after forking up a gift certificate for the pedicure and $30 for the manicure), only to meet my fiance who quickly directed me back inside to demand a refund. This may have been the only mildly-positive experience of the day - when one of the other technicians took me back into the room again and proceeded to remove all of the polish which had taken the other technician 2+ hours to apply. Unfortunately, the next application was not much better than the first, and was something that I could have easily done by myself, at home, for free - because the color that she applied looked like I didn't have any polish on my nails at all. She only refunded half of the manicure and wouldn't give me anything back for the pedicure. All in all this was a time-intensive, extremely overpriced, horrible-quality manicure/pedicure that I will NEVER return for, ever again. I could have easily done a better job myself, or paid $20 for a manicure at the local Vietnamese salon that would have lasted for a week and looked beautiful in the wedding pictures, when instead I had to resort to the worst white-person spa experience I've ever had.…
Hardly a spa.
Don't let the fancy building fool you.
I decided to check it out, after driving by for years. I was not impressed at all.
1st- The lobby looked like a baby store with pink and blue packages everywhere.
2nd- I was escorted straight to the massage room. NO waiting/sitting/relaxing area. NO changing room w/robe. NO relaxing experience at all. I undressed and dressed in the room, and got a dixie cup of water after the massage. YOu can get the same experience at that franchise massage business, or the mom & pop strip mall joint. For much less money.
I don't know what their definition of spa is, but it doesn't qualify for my definition. If you just want a massage, pay half the price somewhere else. If you want the whole relaxation experience, go somewhere else too.…
Massage therapyst went tooo far!. I had been a customer for 2 years.I trusted this person to help me with my mental well being as well as my physical. I am suppose to feel safe. Nurtured. This person touched me on the front part of what would be covered with a string bikini! It was not an accident and occurred several more times in the same session. I will never ever go there again and I have complained to the licensing board and the Finnish Touch Day Spa it self. That was the Finnish of that spa for me!…
Best Massages in Town and Maternity Massage. I have been going to Finnish Touch for about 5 years. They give wonderful pedicures, facials and massages. I especially enjoy Meade's maternity massages right now. I feel like a million dollars when I leave there. I find everyone very professional and a very nice facility. If you want a wonderful, professional massage, go see Meade! I also recommend the Nap Day facial and pedicures!…
Awful service, not relaxing, dirty furniture..
My daughter and I booked an hour massage there. We came in on a weekday, on time. We were led to a room where we waited for 15 minutes. No one offered us any water, tea or anything. The couches which
are an off white canvas showed the dirt where peoples feet were. We were never offered robe or slippers or even shown where the showers or restrooms were.
I've had many massages before and this was the absolute worst service I have ever experienced. So after our massages, we had to put our clothes on our oily bodies in the massage room! I don't think it's very sanitary to have to be barefoot in a spa.
When we went back to the front desk to pay, they took our money and dissapeared. We had questions about this entire debacle but after waiting for 10 minutes, no one ever came back to the front desk.
My daughter and I will never go back to such a sad, dirty, lousy place.…
