The Scene
Sleek, modern and definitely comfortable, Finnish Touch is a world-class day spa where beautiful people tend to your every need. For those who enjoy a little self-indulgence at home, there are plenty of products for hair, nails, face and body.
The Services
This is the perfect pre-wedding destination. Exfoliate with a salt-glow treatment to leave your skin feeling baby soft or relax with a massage, then create a polished appearance with a manicure and pedicure. Salon services also are available--complete your look by having your hair and makeup done. Other treatments include sea-mud wraps, body contour wraps and personalized facials. Body-bronzing treatments with self-tanning lotion give clients a tan without the damaging rays of the sun and avoid the telltale blotches you get when you apply the stuff yourself. I remember when "The Finnish Touch Day Spa" was across the street from their current location, and they were just beginning. They were humble and kind. Now that their business has grown, AND so has their rudeness! I will never return to this spa, and I have turned down their Christmas Party for years. The last time I attended this spa, was when I was given a $50 gift certificate. I made an appointment for a manicure. I was 10 minutes late to my appointment, after speeding across town, from my difficult job at the hospital. When I ran into the spa, they sharply told me I was too late for my appointment! I looked at my cell phone, and exclaimed, " I am only 10 minutes late, is there anything you can do?" The girl behind the counter looked at me, as if I were the most disgusting person in the world, and then looked at the clock, and said, " You are THIRTEEN minutes late! I guess all I can do for you, is throw some nail polish on you!" After that, I placed the $50 gift certificate on the counter and walked out, WITHOUT using it. I have since been spending my hard earned money on spas that appreciate my business. I use this experience whenever I treat one of my patients at the hospital. I make sure to treat my "business" with care and compassion.
Pros: NONE!

I got my first ever facial here recently and it was a wonderful experience: incredible relaxing and soothing. Kate, the esthetician, was terrific and my skin looked the best it's ever looked afterwards. Highly recommended!
