Utah men are trading their mountain flannels for the fine fabrics of Italy--an idea that D. Grant Ltd. has been peddling for more than 12 years. This spacious store in Foothill Village is one of Salt Lake's largest boutiques and has evolved into something of a local status symbol.

The Goods
D. Grant offers a large selection of suits, shoes, sportswear and sweaters. Fabrics are heavier and a bit more "traditional business" (definitely for older men of means). Brands include Hugo Boss, Eton, Canali and Zanella, plus D. Grant's own exclusive line. Golf and polo shirts range from $95 to $200; slacks from $200 to $300; suit coats and jackets are around $900.
