The Scene

The Goods
Whether you want to prepare a traditional Indian meal or just have a yen for Indian food, you'll find what you need. Choose from flours and rices, coconut and mustard oils, every type of lentil, chutneys, curry pastes, hot mango and hot lime relishes, coconut powder, and spices ranging from cardamom to garam masala. And that's just the beginning. Also available are Indian sauces, fully cooked entr¿es suitable for backpacking, and frozen organic entr¿es and wraps. Henna powder, massage oils, incense, music for meditation, museum-quality Indian prints, greeting cards, handmade stationery, bells and Indian cookbooks round out the selection.

With tons of Indian cookbooks and all the spices you need to create your own dishes, this is the first place to come if you want to expand your cooking horizons. The store has hard-to-find items that you won't find in your usual gourmet store.
