Horrible service.
I have used Appliance Service by Paul for my high end appliances that are 1.5 years old. In the first year, I had to have my cook top serviced twice, because the technician diagnosed the problem
incorrectly the first time. I have had a technician out 5 times now for my double wall ovens for the same problem, every time, which is NEVER fixed. I get the exact same error code on my oven every time and they can't seem to figure out how to fix the problem.
I am getting the run around by them and am frustrated that this is the company that I have to use for my warranty. If you can avoid using them, I would suggest that you do. Also, I agree with several of the other disgruntled customers that have provided similar feedback....the receptionist that books appointments is very dismissive and rude, every time I have to call.…
Horrible, terrible, no good, awful service by Paul.
If I could rate them lower than 1 star, I would. I can't believe how unprofessional and stupid these people are. We would change service providers, but we're using this horrible company because
we're under warranty with our dishwasher and this is where KitchenAid sent us.
So far, they've "fixed" it once already, but the problem wasn't fixed at all. The guy came back, said "Oh, no, it's actually this part that's defective; I'll order it." They called us up a week later to schedule another appointment, but when the same man showed up, he had no idea he's already been here once. He then decided it was a whole different issue, other than the one he'd already ordered a part for. When he was reminded of his last visit, he blustered his way through an excuse about how the part must be on back order.
They called a couple days ago to schedule yet another appointment for today, between 1-4pm. Lo and behold, it is now 4:50 and we've sitting here waiting still. We called and were told that the guy is two houses hehind at this time, and instead of calling and letting us know, or rescheduling, they're decided that we can just be kept waiting.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
There's no way that the people who rated this place 5 stars aren't shilling for Paul.…
NO SHOW.
They came recommended for my rental units. Had appt between 10-1. They called at 1:50 and said they couldn't reach the tenant. Yes, because they had gone to work. Show up when you say you'd show up.
Called to see what the problem was. The woman in the office didn't apologize or give a reason but said, "So is she there now?".
Bad service and bad service etiquette.…

The following is a note I wrote to Paul about his business:
I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for whatever you have done to create such a great business and such a great team. Our dryer broke down 2 weeks ago. Knowing I could probably fix it myself, I didn't want to pay what others were charging to fix it. I also didn't want to pay what others were asking just for a new motor. My brother in law recommended your shop, and I thought I'd give it a try.
From the first moment, I was very impressed. Tim took my call and took much longer than could have possibly been profitable for you walking me through how to approach fixing my dryer. He was incredibly helpful. Then, when I went in to pick up the motor and I saw that he had kept detailed notes on our call and still knew exactly who I was and what my problem was, I was even more impressed. He walked me through things again, this time showing me what I would need to know on the actual motor, and making sure that I wouldn't shoot myself in the foot.
Hearing that Tim and others of your staff say that they have been with you for literally decades shows that you are doing something right for them, as well.
I hope I never have to fix another appliance again, but when I do, I know where I'm going for help.…
Really Bill Gephardt? My experience - NOT Trustworthy.
Do not use this company. They are not customer service oriented and unprofessional. If these are the types of businesses that Bill Gephardt endorses, then I would not put much clout in his opinion.
From my PERSONAL experience, they do not care about their customers. Their in-office representative is rude and unprofessional, as was their service technician. You have to do a lot of follow up with this company. The service technician never returned my phone calls. The parts ordered for my machine took 10 days to get in. I was told initially they would have them after a "couple days". That is a lot of days to go without an appliance (and that was only the first time). I have had to have them out 3 times and they have NEVER fixed the problem. Needless to say, I am moving on to another company because I am so frustrated. Save yourself the headache and use another company.…
