Went to this salon for the first time
and I had a great experience with my haircut. I loved my stylist and was excited to go back again. I scheduled my next appt to have both haircut and all over hair color. I booked my appt early to have time to make it to work. After they told me the price(which it was way more than what they show on their website) I decided to stay because of the previous experience I had. They girl who dye my hair after 2 hrs of application and rinsing, told me she forgot to add one of the ingredients and had to do it all over again.She rinse my hair and started blow drying, and then her boss came to tell me she needed to wash my hair again...she did not even removed the product of my hair completely. I was a little mad but they said they would get me out of the salon before I had to go to work and that nothing will happen to my hair.
After leaving the place rushing, the offered me a free haircut that I had no time to get, but I was so rushed that I just left, during my work shift I experienced a horrible pain in my scalp...it burned and it felt awful, I called a few hrs later and told them I did not care about the free haircut, I just wanted my money back, they told me to go back the next day and talk to them and mean while wash my hair. I couldn't until I made it home, the pain stopped but it was really intense, I went back to the salon to ask for my money back, after washing my hair I realized they even missed spots when dying my hair and I could still see some of my old hair color. After talking to them and explain the pain on my scalp that still going on (2 days now) they refused to give me my money back and had to fight them to give me at least a 50% refund. Needless to say I would NEVER go back to this place, they did not take responsIbility for their mistakes, and they told me that maybe I had an allergic reaction, but I had my hair done before, it wasn't the first time I have ever dyed my hair, or the first time that I used Aveda products, it was all crap....beware of this place if you are doing coloring, if they mess up they would not give you your money back.
I was as nice as possible and did not went crazy on them, I they still would not help me, their policy said that if you complain within 7 days of service, which I complained the first, and second day they would make adjustments, but they would do nothing for you....

Rude. Tried to make an appointment at the Utah Fashion Place salon and was very disappointed with the attitude of the person on the phone. First, I said I had a coupon and she obviously was jacking up the service pricing to compensate. I have boy cut short hair and on the web it quotes a color price from $45 this person said it starts at $65 and that the prices had not been updated. What?! Then when questioned further started to just make stuff up. Are you kidding me. What a joke!

I recently had a deep condition with Kat at Natural Lifestyle Salon and was very disappointed. I've been to a lot of Aveda salons and know what to expect. That being said I asked for a senior stylist because I thought it would be worth it to pay more, boy was I wrong!
First off, I was waiting for 15 minutes just to be told it would be another 15 minute wait. After waiting for 30 minutes I'm rushed back to a shampoo bowl WITHOUT the scalp massage. Her shampoo was actually really nice, not as long as I was hoping for. Then we go to a dirty station where there are chunks of hair on the floor, a pile of tools that looked questionable -(hair, used towels and tin foil.) Did I mention that I wasn't even having my hair streaked!?!?
She put the deep condition on and instead of giving me a hand massage she had side conversations with other staff. She did finish the service asking me questions and trying to get to know me which was nice. By the end I felt rushed and more like an inconvenience. I'm hoping she was just having an off day, but paying customers shouldn't have to suffer.
Best Salon at Fashion Place!.
I recently had a haircut with Jordyn at Natural Lifestyles. She was very good at listening to my needs and helped me find a picture of how I wanted it to look. I love that she didn't take too much off the lengh (as so many scissor happy stylists do.)
After the hair cut she taught me how to do flat iron curls and made of video of her teaching me how to do it, WOW! I loved making my own personal video to watch whenever I need help with it.
I like the friendly feel and environment of the staff at this salon and the tea was incredible!
I will definatly be back.
Love my new color!!!!. I was skeptical at first about deciding to color my hair darker, but my stylist reassured me that darker hair would compliment my skin tone. The end result was amazing! i love my new color !
high quality hair do!!. i love my hair they always do such a great job and i always get to sit and relax, i love getting the scalp rub before my hair cut! give it a try you wont regret it, or the prices.

Best Customer Experience at an Aveda Salon in Utah. I recently had an amazing hair color and cut at the Aveda Salon in Fashion Place Mall. Best of all my service included a stress relieving massage, hand massage and a makeup touch up. I would highly recommend this salon, especially if you are a consumer concerned with our environment--it is the best!!
