Fresh, homemade Tex-Mex specialties served up in a fast-food atmosphere..
The Scene
It's got the look and feel of a typical fast-food restaurant--there are some tables for dining in, but it doesn't offer much in the way of a dining experience.
The Food
Nothing fancy here, but the flavors are fresh and the quality is good. Tacos, burritos and gorditas are available with shredded or ground beef, carne asada or chicken. The tacos are served on fresh corn tortillas and the carne asada lends a smoky flavor ($1.99). Gorditas are served in soft corn pockets--sort of like a small pita--stuffed full of your choice of meat and topped with cheese, onions, cilantro and guacamole ($1.75).
The chile verde burritos are big and satisfying. They're rolled in a soft, flour tortilla and smothered with rich green-chile stew flavored with chunks of pork. The combo is served with rice and beans ($5.99).

Best Mexican in Utah.
Since I discovered this little oasis three to four years ago, I have not found anything that compares. The combos are the best value of any dine-in restaurant I know. The service is unbeatable. The owner is always friendly, and always tries to customize my order to what I like. He knows me when I walk in, and he remembers what I had the time before. I always recommend this place to all I know.
