Worst hair experience ever!!! Do not go here.. I have heard of hair horror stories but I have never had one. Well this is one for the bucket list.

This haircut/ color doesn't even come close to the $110 price tag I paid. Lets just put this out there. I am not a picky person, I am not even high end, but walking out of a salon with dye on your face is degrading.

I asked for a cut with color touch up and highlights. When the stylist was done with the color I asked about the dye still in my hairline and on my ears. She said she take it off with some 'remover'. Being new to the salon I thought this was a 'new' type of process and trusted her.

After the cut and style she was ready to send me out the door with the dye still on my face. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I was in a panic, tomorrow is mother's day and my husband is taking me out for a nice dinner. I cannot go like this.

Another stylist, perhaps sensing my distress (YES ABSOLUTE DISTRESS), had the audacity to tell me it because my 'scalp was too dry and the dye has stuck'.

As if somehow her sloppy work is my fault! That is like blaming the patient for a surgical mishap instead of the surgeon.

Okay now I am seriously panicking because it is obvious no one in this salon thinks this is an issue. I am in tears. I ran to my car to hide.

When I got home the full extent of the disaster was apparent. I had to wash may hair, dye still coming out, trying to rub the misplaced dye off my hairline and ears. I have chunks for highlights instead of nicely placed sun streaks.

I look like my eight year old cut and colored my hair. For the amount of money this cost I should have let her, at least it would have been free.

Never been happier. My friend had her hair recently done at Salon Valentina by the hairstylist named Britney! She looked great and she radiated with such a glow of confidence that I had to see what I was missing. I have had nothing but bad experiences at salons with my hair but my friend spoke so highly of miss Britney and Salon Valentina I didn't hesitate for one second. From the instant I met Britney I knew she would become my new stylist she is warm, friendly and fun to talk to! She made me feel important by giving me eye contact and through out the service she educated me from products to styling my own hair. She definitely knows whats she's doing! Because, I absolutely love the color and cut she gave me! I can't remember the last time when I have been this impressed with a stylist! The difference with Britney is that she cares, and you can tell.

A gem at Salon Valentina, Lauren.... I was referred to Lauren at Salon Valentina by a friend and I will never go anywhere else! I recently had my hair cut and colored by Lauren and I have never received so many compliments. My friend was so right about how fabulous she is! Her attention to detail left me with the style I have always desired. She not only listened to my needs and concerns, but gave me a great cut and color to flatter my skin tone and face shape! Not to mention, she taught me to how to use the products and tools necessary to achieve the same style at home! I am happy to say that my hair has never looked better! Thank you Lauren for such a wonderful experience and beautiful hair.

Heaven on earth. If I could give this 10 stars I would. I go to the stylist Britney here and she is absolutely fabulous. She's such a pleasure to talk to and she always makes me look good when she does my hair. Since going to her I will never let anyone else touch my hair. Ever. I also got eyelash extensions done by her and their incredible. And for a reasonable price too!! Everyone needs to check her out

Stylist Britney. If you haven't been here then you need to go now!! Absolutely love this place. I can only write a review for stylist Britney because she's the only one that I have let do my hair. Knows her stuff and what she's doing, I would never trust anyone else to even touch my hair. I get my eyelashes done here also by Britney and their AMAZING!! She is very friendly and is incredible at what she does.

Stylist Britney is Amazing. Britney is phenomenal! She was very knowledgeable about the products and a big help with styling my hair. Her skills as a hair dresser are incredible, I'm never going to anyone else for my hair!

Amazing. Amazing! The stylist (Britney) was very friendly. I was going from blonde to a dark brown with caramel highlights. I showed her a picture of the color I wanted and she copied it exactly. When she was finished she asked if I wanted her to change anything and was really nice about it. I will definitely be going back to her!

Always Impressed.. I can only give a review for Lauren. Amazing! She is great listener, talented, creative, and patient....everything you would want in a stylist. She takes her time in studying your hair. She looks at the texture, the way it lays, and will let you know what kind of styles work best for you. I've seen her do amazing things w/ Asian hair, big fro's and super curly's. She does both cut and color.

Lauren has a super loyal client base and it is ever- growing. Plan ahead if you want an appointment with her, especially around the holiday season.

There have been times where I have gone to other salons and I always come back to Lauren and have her repair the damage. She's really the best.

I have seen some really cool styles from the other stylists as well.

The salon is really cute and clean. Located in the heart of sugarhouse. The icing on the cake is that they use Aveda products.

Great Salon, Great Sylist. I have been looking for a good stylist in the area since I moved from california, and I think I've finally met my match! Lauren at Salon Valentina is AWESOME! It is a great experience from start to finish. Personable, professional, stylish, and funny! I'm sold! The Salon was a bit hard to find... It's upstairs, above carters, in the whole foods shopping center.

Sloppy work. I've been going to Salon Valentina for about 5 years - with 4 of those years going to a great gal that unfortunately moved out of state when her husband was able to make a good career move. She was fantastic! After she left, I needed a haircut and had the secretary put me in with whomever was open, which was Deanna. I've been moderately satisfied up until the last two times. Last week when I went, I told her there were some weird shorter bits that always feel out of my curling iron and I wanted those bits to line up with the other layers. Did she pay attention to me? No! She was too busy talking on and on and asking questions of me. Out of politeness I was answering her questions, even though I really prefer to just have a stylist pay attention to their work and let me have a little peace and quiet.

After the cut, it looked fine and I told her I prefer to have some body on top when she was styling it. She blowdried it fine, then before I knew it, she had some heavy cream on her hands and she mashed it on the top of my head. A slicked down look does NOT equal body. I felt embarrassed going back to work and even a close colleague commented on my hair, so I know it wasn't just me thinking it looked bad.

The last couple days when I've curled my hair in the morning, I've been so frustrated! Not only did Deanna NOT fix the problems from the previous time she cut my hair, she created more problems! My layers are all weird and uneven and my hair is very difficult to style in the morning now - as if I needed that.

I've been going to Salon Valentina since I loved my previous stylist and I don't have a lot of time to check out other places, but now I'll make the time. If you have long, layered hair and want a good haircut - don't go here!!
