Sean is an artistic genius!. Has your fairy godmother gone MIA? You don’t need one if you hire Sean. Perfect, perfect, perfect. Sean is all that is fabulous and wonderful about weddings. I found myself wishing he did all things wedding because he was PERFECT. If you want to avoid heartache, worry and stress over your wedding flowers, this is the place to go. You can utterly trust the man to make it beautiful, think of the small details (that you are totally neglecting) and to remember the mandatory extra grace that puts the finishing touch on your wedding.

Here’s the kicker--I planned my wedding in slightly less than 8 days, I had precisely one 25 minute phone call with Sean where he narrowed down my vague ideas and came back with a classic romantic mid-century modern that I was aiming for. Sea n interpreted my vague, stressed out prattling and magically, seemingly without effort picked out exactly what I was looking for and improved upon it.

You’ll find all sorts of vendors that will do pretty much what you ask but few who will do you one better. You will not regret hiring this man. He is an artistic genius with a heart of gold. He goes over and above the call of duty and you can even claim the credit for “discovering” him all on your own, I won’t tell.

Amazing Florist!!!! I highly recommend Sax Romney!!!. I hired Sean to do the flowers for my wedding over 7 years ago, and they were absolutely wonderful. Since my wedding, we have been able to work together dozens and dozens of times [I am a wedding photographer] and he does the most amazing job and I am always excited when I find out that one of my clients has also hired him! I heard all about bride8's wedding, and the fact that she was trying to save $50 on a transport fee to take the flowers from the church to the reception. Sean was heartbroken when he heard the bride's family had killed the flowers by transporting them in an extremely hot car and I know that he had been so careful to tell them how delicate the flowers were. He delivered them to the church perfectly. When the bride called upset after the wedding, he offered her a full and complete refund IF she could show him pictures proving they the flowers were dead and brown at the church. They couldn't, because of course the flowers were gorgeous at the church. I know it still made Sean so sad, because he just wants all of his brides to have a wonderful day, but the truth of it is that Bride8 killed her own flowers by trying to save $50 on a transport fee, and she complained to everyone she could, including the BBB and all of the vendors involved trying to make trouble for him, and no one believes her and even the BBB said Sean went above and beyond giving her any refund at all [he gave half back]. So I find it very upsetting that she is still trying to get him the only way she can, by posting anonymously on citysearch, where nothing can ever be removed.

Shame on you bride8. I am sorry that your flowers were not what you wanted them to be at your reception, but next time, be more specific about how you want your bows to look, that you want a tiny bridesmaids bouquet instead of a normal bride's bouquet, and for heaven's sake don't skimp on the $50 transport fee!

Sax Romney is an excellent florist, and I have personally been to over 60 weddings they have designed, including my own, and they are fabulous, and so much fun to work with!!!

Owner Response. As owner of Sax-Romney I feel the need to address the single complaint above. In the 10 years I have been providing wedding services (and for over 600 weddings) I am still heartbroken about the event of bride8 and her groom. Miscommunication played a major role and I learned a valuable lesson. I did refund them 50% of the money they paid for the wedding and offered to refund it it completely if they could provide me with photos. (which they did, but none to shoe the flowers for me to get a refund which I could pass on to them) They matter was reported to the BBB of Salt Lake and through a process they sided with the fact that the refund of 50% was sfficient and I had done my best to resolve the matter. My shop in is excellent standing with the Better Business Bureau as well as many, MANY wedding vendors throughout the valley.

I wish nothing but the best for bride8 and her groom, they were a lovely couple to work with and I am sorry they had such a negative experience.

Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful!. I was surprised to read the one review on this site. I thought Sax Romney did a beautiful job for my wedding. The flowers were fresh and looked gorgeous and lasted a long time after my wedding! Shawn is great to work with and is able to take what you are thinking and create it into a beautiful bouquet! He really understood what I was looking for and put in his expertise where needed. I was thrilled with everything he did!!! I highly recommend them!

Extremely poor customer service. Goods delivered were not as requested/promised and of extremely poor quality. Sax-Romney promised refund, then stopped returning calls.. I hired Sax-Romney to provide the flowers for my wedding. They delivered wilted "white" flowers that were more of a yellow with brown, wilted spots throughout. My bouquet was at least twice the size requested. The bows I paid for were drooping ribbons tied in simple shoelace bows. Sax-Romney promised a refund then stopped returning phone calls. This one is to be avoided.
