The Scene
Whynaught and its neighbor Timeline are two sides of the same decorative coin. But whereas Timeline is green and funkadelic, Whynaught is pink and pretty--almost like a Victorian bedroom. Elegant fixtures hang from the ceiling. Lace and dark woods abound.
Good For
The selection here is a bit haphazard compared to other vintage stores. The top floor is dedicated to antiques, with '50s and '60s furniture stored in the basement below. But there really are some beautiful items, particularly the dressers, armoires and chandeliers.
What You'll Spend
The pieces here are well-preserved and sturdy (if anything, they're underpriced). The bigger items cost, on average, around $500.
