Expensive Dry pizza with some decent toppings.
While Pizza hut may have perfected the dry, greasy pizza with insufficient sauce to add flavor or lubrication, Wasatch Pizza could easily double up their sauce and produce an enjoyable pizza. Wasatch's pizza may have high quality ingredients, but their pizza is too unbalanced to merit a premium price.
I'd reserved judgment until a second try, but usually I don't have leftovers when I get pizza.
too much greasy nothing extravanza. very greasty pizza, took 1.5 hrs for delivery, didnt look healty to me at all hope it was less greasy
The ultimate in dial-up pizza: great ingredients, grown-up flavor combos, chewy, fragrant crusts..
The Scene
Don't bother visiting, just dial up for delivery. Though some locations have a few tables, service is nil. Enjoy chez vous or in your hotel room.
The Food
Beautifully balanced, generous combos with top-drawer ingredients. Wasatch's crust is soft inside, golden and chewy on the outside. The "Lone Peak" is a supreme example of what a vegetarian pizza can be. Piled high with meaty roasted eggplant and mushrooms, thin sliced zucchini, creamy feta and mozzarella, Greek olives and roasted garlic, it's just about perfect--the crumbled feta always gets a little golden tinge on the edges and the cheese starts to ooze and melt, just-so. And it always arrives hot. Too much roasted garlic ruins some of Wasatch Pizza's creations, however. Salads are ordinary, and inexplicably include a pile of shredded cheese on top.
