Best Wings and Best Service in Utah. My husband and I have gone here countless times: as a couple, with large groups of friends and family and during all different times of the day- the service and the quality of food never falters. The Wings here kick butt!! Forget Wingers- if you want the best spicy buffalo wings in Utah this is the place to come. And the pizza has always been top notch. The best part is- It is so reasonably priced!! I high HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant and small- never gets too loud or too crowded. I love this place and will continue to go back many many times.

WINGS ARE A MUST. Once you have had the wings from SLP&P you will never be able to find any others as good. My husband and I make it a point to try wings wherever we go - only because the wings at SLP&P are THAT GREAT. We've been all over the US and we have never had wings that are as good. We can't suggest anything else because we get the same thing every time - tomato basil linguini with a side of wings. If it ain't broke.....!!!!!

YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!. Visit: Friday, June 25 2004. 8:45PM

SLP&P is hard to find, but it's hooked on to The Fiddler's Elbow so just look for the big neon "Fiddler's" sign.

I had the 14" mushroom and pepperoni pizza. It was amazing! The crust was thin just like pizzas in Italy. The mushrooms were fresh, not from a can. The flavors were outstanding. The pizza was light and crisp, not heavy and saturated in cheese and toppings like Pizza Hut or Domino's.

My wife had the 9" spinach chicken. It had an alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce, red and green onions, bacon, chicken, spinach, garlic and cheese. It was an amazing combination of flavors: creamy, smoky, garlicy. It was so good!

A casual place where people gather with friends over good food and beer.. The Scene
Clean, comfortable and casual. Photographs of Southern Utah decorate the walls and you can always catch a game on one of the many TVs. A recent addition of windows to the restaurant makes lunchtime dining more pleasant. Booths line the walls for more intimate dining and several tables in the middle are great for groups.

The Food
Reasonably-priced pizza, pasta, sandwiches and salads. For appetizers, the spicy Buffalo wings are a must. The Cajun shrimp pizza is zesty or try the mushroom pizza with sausage or pepperoni for a more traditional flavor. Pastas include tomato basil linguini, fettuccini alfredo and sun-dried tomato and chicken linguini. The chopped salad and Cobb salad are popular (and hearty) alternatives to the pizza and pasta. There's also a board listing daily specials as well as desserts. Cheesecake or Tiramisu anyone?

Where's Our Radio?. I'm from out of town, but lived in SLC for awhile. SL Pizza and Pasta was one of my favorite places! I would travel there just for the wings... I've never had any like them. They are delicious! The Buffalo Chicken and Barbecue Chicken pizzas are mighty tasty and the atmosphere is fun. However, last time we ate there, our stereo and all our CDs were stolen out of our car... So, my advice would be to park near plenty of light and where there is plenty of traffic. This is not the best part of town.

Unique and tasty food. Great service - ask for Erica! Some of the best food I've had! The Elk sausage was terrific! They have the best Calamari I've had since I was in New Orleans!

perfect pasta/ great service. My husband and I dined here for the first time in years and it was fantastic. The pasta (fet. contadina)was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spices. I enjoyed the wine list and my husband enjoyed the wide variety of micro brews. I really enjoyed the booths and atmosphere there with historical photos of the Sugar House area on the walls. I commented to our server (who was great by the way) that the portions were too large to finish and she said that most people say that. So in closing, great food, great service, nice atmosphere, and value as well S.L. Pizza/Pasta is my vote for the best restaurant in Salt Lake!
