Phenomenal Service & Cutest Wigs Ever!! I TOTALLY disagree with ANY negative reviews about this salon. I only wish I found Creative Wigs sooner... I spent thousands on "custom made" hairpieces from supposedly the best places in Los Angeles and I hated how they looked. I've also been to every wig salon in Utah and Salt Lake counties, and Creative Wigs has the best selection, most up-to-date styles, and the best customer service. Everyone there was so kind, helpful and friendly to me that I didn't want to leave--it is like the movie, "Steel Magnolias," the salon you could hang out in all day. They let me try on as many wigs as I wanted and take my time. I ended up purchasing 3 wigs from them that I absolutely love and Jana did a great job of custom cutting them for me. I will definitely be buying my future wigs from them and look forward to going back for their affordable wig maintenance. Being their customer has changed my outlook on my hair loss and made wigs a fun, realistic looking, fashion adventure!
Best Place to get wigs in Salt Lake City – When I first moved to Salt Lake City I went to a store where they had there own brand and I was not happy with the quality of the wigs. I looked online and found Creative Wigs and called them and set up an appointment with Cindy and I have been extremely happy since. They have a big selection and Cindy does a fabulous job on styling the wigs just for me. I don't understand the negative reviews as I have always gotten the best service when I go there for anything.
Horrible Experience – I was new to Salt Lake, and have been wearing wigs for the past 2 yrs now. I research, style, and am quite knowledgeable in what I want. I had an exact idea of what I needed, so when I went into Creative Wigs, I was NOT greeted by the elderly woman working there. Once I got her attention, I asked her if she had any short haired blonde wigs. She was very short with me, and acted like her time was too sacred to spare. I was frusterated that she was not friendly and that I was a sort of bother to her. I was ready to spend my money there, and buy a wig that day. I am in my 20s, and it was like she was age-ist. After getting no help what so ever, and after lingering in the store, and realizing that the wig selection was horrible/over priced, I left. I ended up going to Jean Paree and I am now a return customer to their shop. At least they talk to you and actually WANT your business.
Great customer service! – I have a family member that is going through chemo. So to help her, i visisted a couple "Wig" stores in advance to try and find her the best all around experience before acutally taking her there. I was greeted promptly ,all my questions where answered in full. She listened to my requirements and had many suggestions. Upon advising the woman of the circumstances she offered to give an additional 10% off to help. In this day and age this is not the norm unfortunately. My visist was at the 814 E 9400 S location. Suberb service! I will refer this store to anyone in need.
TERRIBLE – My 1st experience at a wig store & it was horrible ! The clerk (L) acted like I was bothering her just by being in the store. It was a true bother that I asked her questions. I left the store very unhappy & with the same questions I had when I went in. They have another store in Salt lake so I went there hoping to have better luck.. wow! I swear this clerk must have been related to the other one. 45 min to close & she told me that she was busy (brushing a wig) she had to get ready to close. Very short with me. So again, another bad experience. I asked when the owner came in & was told that she was hardly ever in the stores. Being my 2nd experience was just as bad as the 1st, I was dreading going to another wig store. But, I found a very friendly helpful store on 7th east that is more than reasonable in price. If your looking for a wig & you have questions, stay away from this one. Its very pricy & the clerks leave much to be desired. Its obvious the same person hired them both.
