Here's a Tip. The management and staff are some of the best in the city. They are like a family that you have known for years and treat you that way. You get the feel of the old small town diner or family owned corner cafe with good food and great prices. I happen to know that the lady who complained in the last comment is misinformed. It wasn't the manager or staff at Dee's that called the police on her and her screaming baby - it was the lady in the next booth who had had it with her lack of consideration for others and her baby. Here is another good tip. Someone has posted on several websites some other mis-information where it states that Dee's on 7th east is closed on Sat and Sun. Not true - in fact they are open 24 hours on those days. - So if you need a warm welcome, a good cup of coffee and a waitress who has a caring and efficient approach - Dee's is your place. There is a reason they keep the same staff for years. It's run well, it's clean, the food and coffee are good, the prices are the best in town and they won't call the cops on your screaming baby - (although the person in the next booth might).

Dee's management and customer assistance sucks. Someone called the police on my 9 month old baby crying at Dee's. I assume that was the socially awkward manager, called Ruth(at least that is what she told me her name was), that was trying to convince the police officers that we did not want to pick up my daughter when she was crying. Every reasonable parent knows that when a baby is tired and wants to fall asleep she should be held in the car seat instead of being picked up and held.

Well ... It's open late. I went to school up the street from here. It was the only restaurant open 24/7. I would always get the pancakes but everything else was very questionable. If you're there late you get some strange people coming in so it's fun to people watch.

great service for a late night diner. The service was cordial, quick, and the food was better than what i expected of a late night diner. Its a lifesaver for us to have to work late.

Relaxed and Casual. I am from out of state, but whenever I am In SLC I have to visit Dee's. The food is great. The portions are generous and the service is always friendly. On my last visit I had the Chef Salad and I must say it was very well prepared and the serving size was quite generous. I was a little disappointed that the drinks weren't attended too a little more often, but for home style food with a very relaxed atmosphrere...this is your place. It has been a favorite of mine for decades and I love the comfort of coming to town and having a familiar place to revisit and enjoy a casual and relaxing meal. I really hope that you will give this place a chance...I think if you do you will enjoy the quaint charm of a family style restuarant that serves up a heaping portion of friendly service and great food. Great Breakfasts, Lunches and the Dinners are fabulous. This is worth a look...if you are in the mood for simple and casual eating.Thanks for years of great experiences Dee's...I love you. Hope to be back to enjoy your atmosphere soon.

Best cheese fries!. I've been going to Dee's for as long as I can remember. It's always been a favorite of my friends and family and I. Their cheese fries are delicious! And they bring you plenty of sauce and ketchup with them. They can be a little slow at times to come take your order, but they are usually friendly.

The best cheese fries in town. This is definitely the BEST Dee's restaurant in town. It is the best in quality, portion, and service, too.
