might go back. I had called and placed an order. The manager Mike, was great to work with. I arrived, and food was almost ready, only had to wait a few minutes. The staff was very friendly, and attentive. They seemed to know I was there for the take-out, from the second I walked in the door. The food was warm and tasty, still warm when I got home. I got the "ground steak with mushrooms." However, I had ordered it medium, and it was well done. I hope that they don't cook steaks the same way they do a "ground steak," suggest if you go there, order it rare and then send it back if it is less than medium (if that's what you want). The insides remind me of a restuarant that you might find in rural Utah or Idaho, floor was painted, worn in the busy areas (stained wood underneath), kind of dark, more like a country saloon, to give it that "steakhouse" look. Lot's of Texas (shirts and signs), look. One reviewer said a great place to take a date!? I have dated one woman that would have loved it, but she had goats and horses! lol

Great Bartender. Austin the barteneder was great, he is so friendly and knows how to make a great drink. I sit in the bar section everytime I go just to be served by hi. Good food and great service and a fun atmosphere!

Better than average steakhouse. with reasonable prices, especially when there are lunch coupons. I agree though that service isn't very good.

Great Steak for a Great Price!. I love Lonestar, they have great appetizers and great steak. Try their Pineapple Pancho or the Sangria Rita if you like the fruity drinks. Its a fun atmosphere and the staff is great!

Good Stuff:). Lonestar in sugarhouse is a pretty good place to eat if you are not in a hurry. The steaks are usually a really good steak at a great price. The full bar is great and the bartenders are very good at what they do. Comfortable atmosphere and great for families.

Sugarhouse Lonestar Rocks!. This place has the best service out of any steakhouses I have been to--the food is delicious--the atmosphere is gorgeous in an old western setting.

Perfect for families,dates and reunions.

The seating is also decent and they have wonderful appetizers and a full bar.

Bad Service!. We tried Lone Star Steakhouse twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times, we waited to be seated, even though there were no others waiting. Also, we were not greeted for almost 5 minutes. We waited for our server for another 10 minutes. We had to ask for water 3 times and when our food finally came, it was overcooked and cold. We will never go back and would not recommend Lone Star Steakhouse to anyone!!!!

Less-than-impressed. We love Lone Star in general, but our dining experience at this location was pretty awful. Food, service, ambience were all well below par. We knew we were in for a rough night when the "steamed vegetables" were served still in their Ziploc bag, straight from the microwave! And that was just the tip of the iceberg...

The best damn food, period.. Cheese Steak Fries, Fried Onion Tumbleweed w/zesty sauce, Black Bean Soup, Huge Sweet Potato, Warm Bread, Freshest Dinner Salad, Gooey Cobbler; and that doesn't even scratch the surface! Their steaks are grilled over a mesquite fire to perfection. The steak is always tender and juicy! Try the barbequed chicken too! The salmon is perfect and the shrimp is always fresh! You gotta have Lone Star tonight!
