Tips for The King's English Bookshop

Great Little Place. This is a cute little store. It is intimate and full of little nooks where one can hide. Bessie, there, needs to get the knots out of her panties. Of course, with the grammatical ability exhibited in her review, she probably doesn't appreciate a book store that doesn't lean heavily toward periodicals with big, glossy pictures.

Narrow minded. Please to the holly than thou, try to be open minded you really are not that special. I will let everyone I know who loves to read that you are not the place!

Best Book Store in all of Utah. This book store is the best in all of Utah. Unlike the large chains who hire employees who are satisfied with the lowest pay scale, breathe and take up space only just to collect their measly earnings, act put out when they have to take your money and probably can't read; the folks who make this shop so great are knowledgable & helpful. Great atmosphere, good location and wonderful selection of books, too.

Wander through this cottage and find books tucked in every nook and cranny.. The Scene
As the name implies, The King's English Bookshop caters to discriminating shoppers. Commoners seeking trashy romances should seek elsewhere. There's not a single heaving bosom to be found, unless of course it happens to be yours. And whose bosom wouldn't heave at the fine selection of literature?

The Goods
Fiction, poetry, biographies, mysteries, travel. And the store is kid-friendly, with an entire wing devoted to children's literature. English majors congregate here, as well as diners waiting for a table at Fresco Italian Cafe. There aren't a lot of discounts, but for discriminating shoppers, that shouldn't matter.

I miss these little bookstores. I can't say enough good things about this bookstore--I just get a good feeling whenever I walk in here. It's cozy with books stacked everywhere: on steps, counters, the floor. There are little nooks and crannies to explore. It's what a bookstore should be. There's no way that the selection can be as extensive as the corporate mega-stores, but what they have is just fine for people who love browsing for books. I wish there were more of these independent bookstores left.
