Editorial Review for The Park Cafe – by Jean Williams

The Scene
An unassuming eatery just south of Liberty Park. There's a light, airy feel to the place, with local artists' paintings on the walls and tables set with linens and real flowers.

The Food
Can't decide on a particular cuisine? Odds are the Park Cafe will satisfy your craving. If you're hankering for south-of-the-border classics, begin with an appetizer of red corn chips and salsa or the chicken quesadilla. A Park specialty is the delicious chili verde burrito. Or go Italian with crostini, Caesar salad and a hearty bowl of pasta Roma tossed with fresh basil, tomato, capers, garlic and feta cheese in a white wine sauce. For Asian flavors, opt for the Chinese chicken salad, vegetarian stir-fry or Thai chicken capellini.

I love this place, I have been a regular here for a while now and they never dissappoint! Not only do they have great food with good sized portions but they are very reasonably priced. They have a great local, neighborhood feel and they staff is alway nice and accommidating. Once the waitstaff sees you a few times, they really treat you like your special! Again I LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Pros: bacon! french toast! potatoes! burgers! Service! FAST!

Cons: hmmmmm, I guess parking????

the food is most excellent. the tables are very close together and the clientele during the school year seems to be mostly students. the policy of not seating parties until everyone arrives is much appreciated. food arrives quickly and is hot and excellently presented. there is usually a wait on weekends.

Pros: food, service

Cons: proximity of tables, parking, wait
