Good meeting place. I was invited to a work meeting at the Park Cafe last week and it was great. They were very helpful and prompt in putting tables together for our large group of 11. Prices are inexpensive, so it is not a weekly financial strain. Good variety and good service

Comfort Food. This is my favorite new spot for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast potatoes are amazing, good thick bacon, HUGE pancakes, yummy french toast, omelets are delicious just make sure you come hungry because the portions are huge. My coffee cup was never empty. You can get breakfast all day. I've had their burgers too and they are really good and big. And it is really inexpensive too.

Not a place for kids. Don't bring your small children here. It is not a good place. Additionally, the food wasn't so great, neither was the service and some manager was yelling at some lady while we were there. Won't go back for a long time.

Change is good. Now that The Park has changed ownership and finished renovations, it is the best place to go for quality food and friendly service. The omelettes come in a number of tasty varieties and the pancakes are the best I've ever had - very light and fluffy. But bring a friend because portions are huge.

A new change?. I had breakfast there a couple weeks ago and the service was terrible. Also, for the price of breakfast the food should be much better. I heard that there is an ownership change and the new owners are completely rehabing the interior (much needed). Hopefully, they will have new staff and a more reasonable prices for breakfast. I will try it again. The atmosphere with the windows overlooking the park is too good to pass up.

An unassuming eatery just south of Liberty Park. There's a light, airy feel to the place, with local artists' paintings on the walls and tables set with linens and real flowers.

The Food
Can't decide on a particular cuisine? Odds are the Park Cafe will satisfy your craving. If you're hankering for south-of-the-border classics, begin with an appetizer of red corn chips and salsa or the chicken quesadilla. A Park specialty is the delicious chili verde burrito. Or go Italian with crostini, Caesar salad and a hearty bowl of pasta Roma tossed with fresh basil, tomato, capers, garlic and feta cheese in a white wine sauce. For Asian flavors, opt for the Chinese chicken salad, vegetarian stir-fry or Thai chicken capellini.

not worth it. Me and a friend went there on a Thursday morning, all the seats outside were taken so we sat inside near the door. It took the waitresses quite awhile to recognize we were there and I asked for coffee and only got 1 refill during the entire hour we were there. My friend had to repeatedly ask for more water, the chicken apple sausage was overcooked, the eggs flaky and the same with the waitresses. She tossed the bill down and walked away, not asking if we needed change. We left the exact amount and no tip. As we were walking out, all 4 waitresses were cleaning up and taking the money.

Park Cafe. Mediocre food and very poor service. The wait staff is very undertrained in the ways of service industry. The young woman we encountered held our water glasses by the rim. After we ordered, we didn't catch another glimpse of our waitress until the bill was "tossed" on the table about midway through the meal (she is generally very surley on the occasions I've dined there) and it was picked up by someone else.

I'll be spending my money elsewhere, sorry.

Good food, terrible service. The food at the Park Cafe is excellent, however, I rarely eat there because the service is so bad. I don't know where they get their waitresses from but they are all snotty and rude. It's as though they know how good their food is, so they know they can treat the customers poorly.

An excellent breakfast. The Park Cafe has excellent breakfasts before a morning walk at Liberty Park. The omelettes are wonderful, the coffee is fresh, and the dining room is bright and open.
