Never Going Back. I am sad to say that I will not be going to Park Cafe again. It was one of our favorite spots until today. I was there with 4 adults and an infant and they tried to seat us in a very small four-top. When I told them that this table would not work, the hostess (owner) was very rude about getting us another table. Once we did get a bigger table, her staff proceeded to harass us and glare at us during the entire breakfast. I called to discuss the matter, and she told me that I was rude to tell her that that table would not work for us. As a paying customer who waited for a table, I don't think this was an unreasonable request. Sad to say this but we will not be returning. I don't want to eat my breakfast crammed into a table and I certainly don't want to have an entire staff harass me while I am eating.

Great Hangover Place. This adorable little restaraunt opens early, and they hustle to bring your breakfast on those morning when you wake up with an empty refridgerator and an empty stomach.

Always serving great food with a smile, I'll definitely keep coming.

Love the Park Cafe Except their BAD Coffee!!. Great location, good food, fast service -but the worst coffee in town. Please make better coffee, please!!!

fast, good food, great service.. I love this place, I have been a regular here for a while now and they never dissappoint! Not only do they have great food with good sized portions but they are very reasonably priced. They have a great local, neighborhood feel and they staff is alway nice and accommidating. Once the waitstaff sees you a few times, they really treat you like your special! Again I LOVE THIS PLACE!!

good breakfast. the food is most excellent. the tables are very close together and the clientele during the school year seems to be mostly students. the policy of not seating parties until everyone arrives is much appreciated. food arrives quickly and is hot and excellently presented. there is usually a wait on weekends.

Pancake sandwich. Imagine - 2 pancakes, eggs & bacon inside. If that doesn't say fabulous diner....then; well obviously you don't know your pancake sandwiches (my boyfriend's favorite). Coffee was ok, and portions were huge & similar to what you could create in your own kitchen given the necessary ingredients. Our table had pancakes & french toast + 2 coffees & the bill was only ~$9!!!! The view of Liberty park is great & the service is very friendly. Only complaint = no butter, just margarine. Sometimes pancakes & toast just need the real thing.

Great Price, Awesome Atmosphere, Lovely Staff , Perfect Potatoes. Repeat customer. Love this place. Probably the best french toast I have ever had. Everyone is so friendly and they always remember our order. One of my top 3 breakfast spots. Prompt service, clean simple, awesome. I also really like how they won't seat incomplete parties. The eatery I work at should follow that motto. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. Always worth the wait. SIMPLE = MORE

Breakfast just isn't as good anywhere else!. I am definitely a regular at the Park Cafe. The breakfast and lunch items are just so tasty, the portions are huge, it?s really inexpensive and the food comes out so fast; which are all pluses! The main review on this page is all wrong. The menu has changed since the new owners took over about 3.5 years ago. It was a change for the better! Not only is the food more amazing, the cafe is so much cleaner, there?s a fun and friendly atmosphere and the service is pretty amazing. It gets really busy during weekday lunchtimes and on the weekends, but it is worth the wait! It also has a fabulous location just south of Liberty Park, which the cafe faces. I love the Park Cafe so much that I miss it when I?m out of town and it?s the first place I eat at when I come home. If you?ve never tried it, you?re missing out.

Repeat Customer. I love "the park"! The food is delicious, the waitstaff is friendly and very attentive, and the atmosphere is inviting! It is one of the few restaurants that you will always leave feeling satisfied. They even had coloring books for the kids!

best in slc. After hearing from tons of people how great the "new" park cafe is I had to try it. Not only was my breakfast huge and perfectly cooked, but the service was awesome. I went back the same week for lunch...they have the very best home made soups!!! Both times my waitress was friendly and kept my iced tea full. I definately suggest that you try it.

ps they're great with substitutions and the potatoes are incredible
