WORST DEAL!!. I want to kick myself for giving them 600.00 cash for a washing machine they told me was NEW! It is a whirlpool colbalt and they smoothly talked us into it saying it had NEVER been used and even lowered the price for us. No one there pointed out they had a NO REFUND policy. They gladly took my hard earned money and printed my receipt. After the delivery I waited an extra day for my husband to hookup the washer. Our hearts sank because it did not go through a cycle. I was so upset I couldn't eat. My husband came home early from work the second day after and loaded up the washer in our van and promptly took it back to USA for a refund. They would not give it to us and told us the owner was coming in a bit. We waited an hour and then Mike tried to convince us the washer was still good and they would deliver it back to us no charge. I tossed and turned at night over this and did NOT want it back. I did some research and found that washer does not fill up with water and does not wash all the clothes. Now it is the third day and I have NO money and no washer. I begged them to contact the owner and they did nothing of the sort. Claimed there was no way to call him. I will spread the news to everyone I know to NEVER deal with this company. This is not over for me since they have my money. DO NOT BUY from USA Appliance!!

This place is a joke!!!. I paid them $450 for a fride that they never delivered to me. Then they would not give me the money back. I have talked to everyone that works at both stores over the last 4 months. Nothing but run around. The owner, Steve, will never call you back and the employees have zero authority. After 4 months, they said I had in store credit, so I reluctantly went in to claim it, and they say that they have no records. Not only no records of my transaction, but no records period. It must be illegal for a business to maintain no records, I wonder if the IRS has checked them out lately. This place is a total joke. Buyer beware, these guys will screw you over.

Mixed Bag. I've purchased for my own use 4 appliances here in the past few years. Three of the four have worked so well I've never had to have service.

The one appliance I have needed service for (it had a year warranty)...well, the service left MUCH to be desired...like return phone calls, and action, and people knowing what I was talking about when I called to check on it (repeatedly). Every time I called I was told I'd be called back. Nope. Every time I called I was told they needed to talk to someone else to find out what's going on. Every time I called I was kept in cue and currently after THREE weeks of calls, the part still isn't even ordered as far as I can tell (them too apparently!).

I'm good with their appliances. Beware if you have to have something fixed though. It may be easier to order and fix it yourself...keep that in mind with the pricing.

Best Service in Utah. I recently bought a Kenmore frontload washer & dryer from USA Appliances. Great service & pricing! Also warranty is in store but was willing to come out & take a look at the issues that came up. I would most definitely recommend them. Most places only offer 90 warranty on used appliances but not them :)

Delivery is super fast! They were delivered the next day!

Great Selection, Would Recommend this Business. A family member told me to check out USA Appliance.

I have desperately wanted a stainless steel refrigerator. We purchased our home about 6 months ago and have been using an old white refrigerator (to save $$$).

So when we got together for my nephew’s Birthday.

My sister in law showed me her washer and dryer set.

I can’t remember the brand but anyways, it was a frontload set with pedestals.

I was surprised to find out it was used!

She told me she found the set at USA Appliance.

I asked her if by chance she had noticed any stainless steel refrigerators.

She said she remembered seeing a few.

So that following Monday my husband and I decided to go into USA Appliance and take a look.

We stopped into a competitors store on the way, just to compare.

But I was a little surprised because they just didn’t have any stainless steel refrigerator.

So we went on to USA Appliance.

They had several to choose from and the sales person was pretty knowledgeable about the products.

I was even able to sell them are white one.

I got a very good looking Amana side by side and I couldn’t be happier.

Personally I don’t mind the fact that it is used. (My kids would take care of the new factor quickly, hahaha.)

We had the refrigerator delivered.

They delivery person did a great job as well.

So, overall they had a great selection, would totally recommend this business.

Won't Buy From Them Again. We bought a wall oven from USA Appliance last fall and we are still trying to get the oven fixed!!! Mike told us when we bought it that they check all their appliances over to make sure they work, and we were re-assured with the 90 day warranty. After we picked up the oven and put it into our kitchen, we found that the door hinges didn't close. The 90 day warranty is for in-store service, so we had to drag the 200 lb oven back to their store. When we got it there to be fixed, they didn't believe that it was really a problem, and we had to show the employees every oven in the store closing tightly to show them that our oven didn't close THEN they said they would take a look at it. Weeks later we were told it was ready for pick up. We were okay with this because we hadn't moved into our house yet. But we didn't know if we wanted this oven anymore, and USA said they would do an in-home warranty so that we would keep the oven. When we got it re-installed, we found that the oven lights didn't work and the vent exhaust cover was missing. 2 MONTHS WENT BY. I HAD TO KEEP CALLING THEM every so often to see if they had the parts and could fix the oven. The exhaust cover was installed in house as promised almost 4 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE. THE LIGHTS STILL DON'T WORK. I have to keep calling and calling. THEY NEVER RETURN MY CALLS. There is a Utah law, the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act, under "Repairs and Services" that states it is against the law to "present that repairs, inspections, or other services have been made when such is not the fact". Obviously USA did not check this oven over as Mike said to make sure that the oven door worked, the lights worked, and the exhaust cover was there. I am surprised that they are still doing business with their very poor customer service and broken appliances. I have worked with Mike, Marcus, Carlos, and Jason and I wish one of them would follow through on fixing these oven lights.

Very Helpful. I don’t usually rate business but I was impressed with this particular businesses approach to resolving a mistake (that I made) with my purchase.

They are a used appliance store.

I visited their Salt Lake City location.

It isn’t much to look at but it is a large warehouse with all kinds of appliances ranging from very inexpensive to high-end appliances.

I was looking for a washer and dryer set for my mother.

The sales person was very helpful and friendly.

I explained my budget and the fact that I wanted the set to match.

I ended up purchasing a Maytag washer and dryer set.

After leaving I stopped by my mother’s home and was totally surprised and completely unaware of specific dimensions needed for her narrow laundry room.

It was after 6:00pm so I was unable to reach anyone at USA Appliance.

I called them first thing in the morning and explained my error and the specific detentions I was going to need.

I gave them a call in hopes that this could be corrected because I knew they did not do exchanges.

They told me to come and they would see what they could do.

It wasn’t a problem at all.

They were very helpful in finding a stack set that was suitable and in my opinion even nicer.

We didn’t even have to change the delivery date and my mother was thrilled.

fair prices and friendly service. I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator from USA Appliance on 12/28/11.

Upon completion of my purchase my sales person asked if I would be willing to rate my experience on City Search. I told him I wouldn’t mind writing a review because they clearly wanted feedback.

I thought the overall appearance of the store was clean. But maybe it lacked some organization. Something’s were stacked and other items didn’t have price tags.

I had done my research on Kenmore Refrigerators so I had a general idea of how much I was going to spend on a used one. To my surprise the prices were reasonable and fair and about what I expected.

The selection was great. They had several different makes and models. It was hard to brows because of the lack of space but again they had a lot to choose from. It is a warehouse so it was kind of cold.

My sells person was friendly and greeted me right away. He was quite knowledgeable and knew about the various appliances but did ask his associate a few questions that he was unsure of.

I did not have a hard time find the right refrigerator that fit my needs. I knew that coming to a used appliance store I had to be careful and examine the product carefully because the items are generally sold as is, which the case with USA Appliance. (It was stated as such on the sales receipt.) After looking over my refrigerator I can say I was confident in its appearance. In general the inside of the refrigerators were clean. But the outside surfaces could use a quick wipe down.

The terms and conditions were outlined on my sales receipt which required a signature. It took a little longer that I would have liked to write up my ticket due to the fact my sales person was answering the phone and trying to take care of other customers.

I was able to schedule a delivery for the following week. I needed a later evening delivery because my job requires odd hours sometimes. That didn’t seem to be a problem. They were flexible with their availability to deliver and I was grateful for that. We will see how that goes. I can say that my overall experience was a good one. And that I am satisfied with my purchase. I would do business with USA Appliance again and I would recommend them.

Sold me a faulty appliance under "new" claim. USA appliance has poor chain of command and customer service. I recently purchsed a "new" range from them. Upon installation it was found to have a faulty oven component. They were unable or unwilling to return the product or offer a remedy.

Cockroach infested appliances in Salt Lake City store. COCKROACHED INFESTED APPLIANCES!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM USA APPLIANCES!!!!

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator from USA Appliance in SALT LAKE CITY UTAH STORE. They said they did a thorough inspection on the fridge, to ensure it was working properly. We got the fridge home and it was super noisy and had a fist size bouncy ball stuck in the bottom of the ice maker. Any inspection would have found that. I believe they just tell customers what they want to hear in order to make a sale.

Shortly after getting the fridge we started to see bugs at night. They were cockroaches! I called Terminex and they came out to spray. When the exterminator sprayed around the fridge, 75 cockroaches came out of the fridge! The exterminators exact words were: “It is my professional opinion that you bought a cockroach infested fridge.” I called USA appliance several times to speak to a manager about getting a refund and returning the fridge. It takes an arm and a leg to get them to return your calls. You have to hound them. They took my name and number 5 times before someone finally called me back. I gave Marcus my number and asked him to read it back to me to make sure it was right, and he couldn't because he had not even written it down! I was dumb founded at such horrible customer service!

One employee said they had “not recently”, seen any cockroaches. I asked when the last time he had seen one was and he replied “one year ago.” So they acknowledged that they have had a cockroach problem. Terminex told me it can take 6 months to a year to get rid of a problem. USA appliance told me they sprayed once a month, I expressed concern that wasn't enough and he changed his answer to once every 2 weeks or sometime 1 a week. They have no credibility in what they tell you. One manager told me they didn't know an appliance store in the county that didn't have cockroaches. They were trying to diminish there own problem. I always felt like they just told me what they thought I wanted to hear. The truth is USA APPLIANCE HAS COCKROACHES, and they sold me a cockroach infested fridge!

They refused to take there fridge back and give me my $400.00 back. Not only am I out a fridge, the $400.00 as well, and the additional $500.00 it will cost for my Terminex contract for the next year.

DO NOT BUY FROM USA APPLIANCE.

COCKROACH INFESTED APPLIANCES!!!!
