Editorial Review for International Peace Gardens – by Robyn Galbos
In Short
The Salt Lake City Council of Women established the garden in Jordan Park in 1947 to honor the world's cultural diversity and foster friendship and peace among all countries. Garden plots represent the nations of the world, and winding paths lead you through distinct areas marked by flags, plaques, symbols and statues. The well-tended gardens and comfortable benches and shade trees make this a good spot for a summer picnic or a moment of quiet solitude.

I love this place. have been there several times. It's so lovely and peaceful. I still remember the first time I went to the Peace Gardens. I was 6 at the time. It's been 17 years since my first visit and yet the IPG remains one of my favorite places on Earth- especially since you feel as though you travel the Earth in one short trip. Awesome for the whole family. I'll be taking my daughter there this coming spring. Come, enjoy. You'll come away full of hope for the world. =)
Pros: Quiet, Beautiful, Educational
Cons: none, none, none
