What a joke. This place is a dump. My soon to be ex works there and DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY. never bought a thing and never will. Management doesn't seem to care who they hire, druggies losers you name it. And the security there is a joke, they were probable the ones selling the cocaine out of the tampons. If you are a decent person DO NOT shop there, you could be getting all kinds of diseases who knows where that stuff comes from. enter the store at your own risk.
This company sells out of date goods;
including food and medication. I also came across fake high end shoes like Christian Louboutin shoes. These are easy to spot and I can't believe that these designers and the FTC are letting them get away with selling fake products as the real thing. I think they should be investigated.
This company is a fraud and buyer beware. If you want a fake pair of shoes or handbag save your money and take a trip to NYC not NPS.
I'm also surprised people haven't gotten sick off their food products as well. These products shouldn't be sold to the public for a companies own personal gain. I've never seen so much out of date food in a dirty environment in my life. Where is the Utah health inspector?
Stay away from this place!!!! From what I gather, this company has many similar complaints and the owners obviously think they are above the lay mans rules and laws.
Also, if you want a true indication of how this business conducts themselves, go to ebay and go to their ebay store and review comments left behind by consumers. They send boxes without the goods, broken items, used items advertised as new, and a myriad of other deceptive practices.
In short this place thinks they're above the law and are willing to make people sick, sell fake shoes and handbags and sells illegal drugs disguised as tampons.
BTW.,, The tampons were sold with cocaine in them in May 2012. They once more were above the law and weren't charged for illegal possession and distribution of an illegal substance. I'm sure if it were any of us, the law wouldn't have turned a blind eye to it. I guess it's OK for a business to deal in drugs, just not a street dealer.
THEY SUCK!!!.
They used to be a good place with good deals.
Over the last two or three years thier prices have went way up!? Also, I used to buy alot of stuff off of thier Ebay site. But now most of thier stuff has "buy it now" prices that are rediculous!!
They must have hired a new CEO that is one of those "Greedy Bastards".
Great Store, Great Prices.
NPS Market Square is one of our favorite stores. Even though we live up in Davis County we still drive the 20 minutes several times a week to shop there. It is a new experience each time because they get some new items often but still have the standard grocery items. Their produce is almost always a great deal (like limes, 20 for $1) but you do have to watch the quality. Usually excellent.
They have raised their prices but the quality is still great and they are still a great deal.
If you have the time and enjoy just looking at anything from tools to huge generators go across the street to the NPS Industrial store. It's better than Lagoon but you might spend as much as you would at Lagoon because you will find something you didn't know you needed but now can't do without.
We shop carefully and always come away with great deals and are VERY satisfied. Our favorite outing place.
We called it the "Junk" store. This place used to be fun to shop at. Now, they raised their prices and customer service is non existent. They dont realize that the customers should come first. The prices are now higher than Walmart in most cases and you will find yourself paying close to retail, the selection of items has dropped and you must beware of replica items that are being sold as authentic. As a result, I would not recommend this store to the average shopper.
