The Scene – If you've never eaten at Oasis Café, then you may not be aware of Golden Braid Books, which is located just behind the restaurant. Unique in SLC

Golden braid books has everything you do not expect to find in a bookstore in SLC. it's not just for people who know their new age. It has great gifts, great gift wrapping. I was surprised at their kids selection, local artist cards, cute purses, calendars, journals... I wander around for a hour every time I'm at Golden Braid.

New Age meets Golden Age

The Golden Braid Bookstore in downtown Salt Lake provides one of the best selections of candles, fountains, books, and service I have ever found in a New Age Book store. It is like returning to the Golden Age of New Age when everything felt new. It still feels new at the Golden Braid Bookstore. I would encourage you to set aside a couple of hours just to browse this marvelous treat.
- Pros: vast space, good selection, good service
- Cons: expensive
