Editorial Review for Grunts and Postures – by Michelle Merrill
The Scene
Traditional market research would probably indicate that used clothing and Indonesian woodcarvings don't go together. Visit Grunts and Postures and you'll see why this eclectic mix of merchandise seems perfectly normal. Besides, you have to love any store that carries Billy Bob teeth, coconut-shell bras and personal fans shaped like Sumo wrestlers.
Good For
New and vintage clothing; wigs and lampshades (no, these items aren't interchangeable); novelty items and Asian imports.
Who's Buying
It's a safe bet that you won't find many Martha Stewart wannabes here.
What You'll Spend
If you absolutely need a life-size, double skeleton carving, you'll have to cough up $200. Postcards and the Billy Bob teeth are considerably less expensive.

Insider Tips
HintCheck out the intricately carved chests. They're kind of pricey, but you won't find items like this at traditional furniture stores.

I went here to find my prom dress, and amazingly I found it. Even through this is a small selection compared with others, I enjoyed coming. Mainly due to the extremely kind and helpful service from the girl that was working. I would come back just to get her feed back on items anytime.
