we need u in phoenix 2.... i had my birthday here with you guys once. we had the biggest table with the best food ever, n u guys gave me a bunch of fortune cookies... like a bag. awesome.

The fulfillment of a college student's dream--lots of tasty food, cheap and fast..
The Scene
A small, functional space, with black and white tiles and pink tablecloths adding a bit of color. A half-dozen tables for sit-down dinners, and a counter along the window for less formal dining. But express takeout seems the norm--you're in and out in about a minute. A more leisurely weekend crowd.
The Food
The "Daily Express" specials are the main attraction--a few ladles of Hunan beef, sesame chicken, or beef with broccoli, among other regular choices, served with fried rice and an egg roll, for under $4. If you dine in, they add a beverage. The woks are busy with the fresher a la carte orders, which run $4-6, and they can't make enough dumplings to last the day. Good curries, lo mein, and--of course--chop suey.

Great food, great value. Anyone looking for a quick, cheap lunch in SLC should try Chop Suey Luey's. The food is amazing and under 5 bucks for their lunch specials, often under 4 bucks! You get your entree, fried or steamed rice, an egg roll and a drink. The sesame beef is superb!
